Introduction

Responding to a request to access the wiki, likely in an editing mode,

with ideas for alternatives.

On another note, I've received a request for access to the

wiki, which is noted here, but not likely to comply, as

mentioned elsewhere sharing this wiki has not worked out

that well in the past, (reminscent of some of the infighting

going on,) and with in EC calls to take this wiki down,

I replied in Executive Committee "I won't let you forget"

or very similar, which did not make it in official records

of the meetings, (claims of slanderous, not mentioned at the

time, it was more like 'I don't like what you write about me

on the wiki', but when asked for clarification, of which of

the 400 or so pages, did not get an answer.  Later checking

by quick search did not turn up anything glaring, and it would

be difficult to assume what bothers someone else, without

that person stating specifics, like the EC meeting quoting

"The chair recognizes hatred when he sees and hears it",

which was sent in an email, which was mentioned)

but I will take submissions of material,

similar to HIPAA charts procedures, you can add

[amend] to the record, but not delete)

And ultimately hoping people will describe what RRWG

and recovery has done for them, for the record,

and to inspire others which may make a good education project,

empowering people with the remaining money paying people

to provide anecdotal and historical reference material

on the recovery experience here in Northern Virginia,

some have said in public meetings that the Consumer Operated

grant process was the best they have seen, and

taking them back to their area,

[I was not part of that panel process, not included,

but perhaps laying some of the ground work

and stepping back, to allow things to happen]

wavering between considering applying, and having rules

that contradict much of what I'd be trying to do,

most anything substantial and ambitious like a

1) consumer operated housing, free services,

2) consumer run crisis center/ farm,

3) peer run transportation, free services, with variable gas costs, etc

4) even recovery newspaper / website, while that might

be free access,

the Street paper model is people buy

them for .25 and sell for a dollar, making .75 - expenses...

and several other ideas outlined on this wiki,

used as a scratch pad or white or black board

to put something down in draft and allow revisions,

an assistive tech of sorts for me, as my first diagnosis

was dyslexia, [constantly made an issue ridiculing my

weaknesses, instead of celebrating the strengths,

and not accommodated in processing / approving meeting minutes,

providing transcripts, audio recording of meetings, overhead

projector of pages referenced, and attempts at wordsmithing

in a critical group, but responded to here, after the fact,

repeatedly, and that can be verified by time

stamped writings throughout the RRWG proposal process for the last

2+ years...]
