Introduction/Definition/etc

I've bastardized the title capitalization

by CamelCasing a bit

BEARSintheFAMILY

would be how it is

without horizontal WhiteSpace

between words,

an older book, about when i was born,

found in a Little Free Library at a school

on a hike through the woods,

with follow-along

AldiGardenLineGardenUtilityCart2019

using an inner tube or couple makes it like

a (mechanical) dog on a leash

a little, but parks were just opening up,

library has a SummerReadingChallenge

SummerReadingChallenge2019

again,

no hard presents, but $1 goes to AFAC

ArlingtonFoodAssistanceCenter

the local pantry, upon completion,

i would think they could reduce fines,

or some other, donate to one of our

favs type thing, with multi week downtime

for system upgrade, but YMMV...

Too long introduction,

maybe break up for Body?

Body

Original Text

Set in Europe, in the Alps,

with preTechnology,

he tried getting likely basal temp

from the bears on hibernation,

only to break the thermometer,

and that's about as measuring scientific

as he got in the book.

Probably had fairly expensive cameras

likely by then color, as good plates

of # photos, some black and white,

some color to document.

Other incidents were likely

covered by the local and

interenational media

so maybe /GoFish on that?

even visit and do a retrospective

say they did an update/revised

edition/ eBook/ built a care guide...

But he got two cubs, one female

and one male, from Zoo(s),

(interesting introduction getting them,

cute lady he interacted with who helped

a godmother? to the bears?)

not rescue, and raised them

with his biped family of wife and

two(?) boys, predetermined names

for the bears Bumsli & Sepha

and the reaction of the townsfolk,

administration/government plus

media, while trying to live in seclusion

to train the bears on how to interact

with our species after the left the den/

nest...

and especially bears

growing and behavior,

/DanglingAbove?

As a researcher living in the wild

as the bears' adoptive mom,

reminds me of a book growing up,

maybe called Bears, Bears, Bears,

idk, just most if not all pages were

drawings of bears everywhere,

not much language,

but bears in all sorts of locations/

situations, wish i could find that

not in print, last i recall,

and not found used,

but luckily a grandmother (locally?)

gave a book to kids

(omitting the family name for privacy),

now 5-6 decades later

and sometime after got donated

to a LittleFreeLibrary (LFL or FLL?),

thne a guy wandering by

who could not get in to the APS WiFi

on site, even registering,

(oddly guest requires

a staff sponsor,

and guessing names of staff

hardly a safety thing,

just monitor the hell out of it,

basically giving a free info referal service

maybe please give us the email of your

parents/guardian, and we will cc them

on anything you send, might cut down

on some childish limit testing behaviors,,,)

schools closed with ConVid19ContinuesIn2020

so a short cut, after a big hill climb exercise,

onlooker(s)/ comments from park neighbors,

not Home Improvement's Wilson,

but critical, park closed,

pre Memorial holiday opening,

but maybe not yet, though not much damage,

not mountain biking up it, and interesting

climbing techniques,

the garden utility care is not a 4x4

no separate suspension for each wheel

not shocks at all, though like a front

articulated turning, so good smaller radius...)

getting i guess a

warm up for reading about the Italian Alps,

and Bears in the wild and domesticated

sort of, some scary, and not a fairy tale

story, a real, more professional behavioral,

but not a lot of jargon, translated to English,

so some issues where, a succinct language

use and somewhat set in time,

glad to have read most of it by now,

and look forward to finishing it,

maybe drawing from chapters

and do a typical book like

write up on it,

similar to FoodBooks2020

on first blush,

seems like everything,

petrol, but mistake,

but didn't seem to do much damage,

didn't maul the kids,

the dad already disabled

in a forestry accident

but still one of the

clan/tribe/(comedy) troop

with some photos, some color,

and no index?

Anyways, maybe they will revise

and reissue, into second edition?

History of bear keeping/raising people,

growing up on Grizzly Adams in the

19th Century was TV faire,

living with animals more appealing

than humans, for many, me included,

back to nature it was the mid/late 1960's

on to the 70's and now maybe back to

nature/ nurture, and other confounds

(research term for miscellaneous (sp?)

factors that can affect a study,

this qualitative, some soft science,

to go with growing and developing

and interspecies cooperation...

(not that hopeful given how we

treat our own species, and even

pets...)

etc approach...)

What's Missing?

US Perspective?

while mentioned, Grizzly Adams

and US Parks, and some difference,

I wonder what he would think

of Joel Rosenthal (?) in WV

bear rescue (Point of View? used to be the nam,

a fork in the GreenBrier River)

where I visited when for about a month

(4 week elective Crafting your Humanism

or similar title, recently saw doing

their first as an internet

course this year?),

at Hunter "Patch" Adams, M.D.s

Gesunhiet Institute

going on 10 years ago...

What Can Be Found?

Lots of funny bear situations

some quite unfunny and scary

as the odd mix start getting along,

and sometimes don't...

What Can Not Be Found?

Live video of them with bears,

a good home in the world for bears

to be bears, for ever, homes,

basically...

How To Analyze?

Lenses

Noob

Bears, really, not teddy bears?

Kid

I thought they were friendly,

turns out they are and aren't

but like other predators

something to learn about?

Theodore Roosevelt

aka Teddy was the start of Teddy

Bears, i think he pardoned one,

like Presidential Turkeys,

but might have killed it,

or another, also

/GoFish for the answer?

UrbanKids

Bears don't exist!

Yes, the do, I saw a news report of one in Bethesda, MD

inside the NIH compound/campus...

Prove it...

Bare with me?

Nocturnal

Not so much...

Feral

And going to stay that way,

and you can't change me,

it, us...

Tim Taylor Home Improvement

Macho/CaveMan like

Grunts!

Hunters

Unfortunately may give information

to the enemy of bears, hunters,

though apparently getting some

wounded animals likely shot badly/

not clean, and freeze and bears

are a little vulture like carian (sp?),

besides ants, grubs, berries, honey,

bad kids and tourists, etc...

As naturalists and their survival

depends upon the wilderness

so may be also conservationists,

idk... Likely not vegetarians/vegans...

GeneralPublic

Not sure many would appreciate

this, but maybe just one of my special

interests...

Bears as a nuisance (sp?)

overrunning parks, and disturbing

trash cans, making it scary to go the

the nature museum(s) aka parks...

Assumptions

Bears are good

Only natural predator

is really human,

and our encroaching their land/

habitat(s)...

Black, Brown aka Grizzly,

Koala, (sure it's same species?

check Latin and Genus Differentia?)

Panda, Polar,

and some others very likely...

Like Monkeys, but not,

intelligence, seems more dog

like on my personal encounter(s)...

Time Limits

There are seasons to seeing bears,

spring, mating, fall eating everything in site,

but some other limitations, distance,

not annoying the WildLife,

keeping them Wild, not Pets,

Circus attractions/freaks

and exploitation, by any means,

much less stuffed wall figurines,

for boasting about hunting/ killing/

destroying, etc...

Book Data

ISBN None?

HardBound

 aka HardBack

 aka HardCover

 etc

CopyRight 1963, 1964

English translation mentioned)

I could give the German? name

Conclusion

Summary of experience or similar

I, of course, like the book,

not all the situations and

don't agree with all of it,

but set in time, about when i

was born and gives another

perspective on interspecies

much less intentional

communities and interpersonal

interactions with language

culture and other nature/ nurture

differences...

Don't feed the bears,

being one of the bears,

but forced by taking the animals,

some for good, to learn to coexist,

and published, not hoarded the info,

but some for bad, as the mother

would have cared for/ raised better?

though apparently the dad would

have maybe eaten/ destroyed

and interesting how that difference,

mother bear protector v. human/biped

and canine, feline, bird (avian?), etc

much less fish/ etc developmental

methods...

Nothing very clever to say,

just logging it for now, wonder how

it ends, as haven't finished it yet,

and will, like losing pets, be very

difficult, given the bears would not

likely live as long as turtles (some 100

years, outliving most humans)...

Would i do that?

live with bears?

would it be possible in today's

societies, PETA, etc?

Discussion

A place for feedback on the page presented

What do you think of Bears?

Ever see one?

In a Zoo?

On TV?

In Person?

say driving along and spot one,

then not have on camera

to prove it, like saying tou saw

an Elephant, Giraffe, Alien,

BigFoot/Sasquatch, two headed

sister, brother, God, Jesus,

miracle, Lepracaun (sp?),

WartHog, UniCorn, etc...

What other Bear information

would you be searching for?
