BenX was one of many movies and shorts available

at the Very Special Arts event

 I recommend it, but caution as it's rather toxic like

For those that do not already know, I do write as therapy,

but maybe since I started out as dyslexic and

writing is not as good as some of the artists

likely featured by VSA and other places,

art house theatres could use the extra

visitors, even for the free shows...

 

Science in Cinema had an AFI event

some time back and I learned about

AIDS from Queen Lytifa (sp?)

but I've never met Oprah,

doubt she would wash my feet

like mother Terysa (sp?)

but as a Baltimore news broadcaster

who's made good, making Angels

of Prudence, doing a film of Zimbabwae (sp?),

Africa for those in the town where Obama

is from, and selling audio CDs ($15 each)

is a good idea. 

 

Anyway BenX is a film about a teen

with Aspergers Syndrome, a form

of High Functioning Autism,

and many scenes sounded really

good, though I don't speak the foreign

language and noticed somethings

were not close captioned as well

as I would have liked.  Audio Description

subject is looking [aspies tent to look

at the clock and other Stuff

but others do...  Say you like film,

and/or are a film geek, you might like

AFI, you might have had only one friend

in High School and seen something there

with one friend in the world (now in Germany,

Finland, or some other earthly Node?)
