Introduction/Definition/etc

 

Post GroundHog Day, Pre SuperBowl and

other organized games, including illegal ones,

and more commentary on modern society,

not behaving as I wished...

 

 

 

Body

 

In a time of Republicanism, dismantling the safeties

on the safety nets, maybe just ordinary businesses

and Ballers need to be looked at...

 

GroundHog Day Happened

 

And the large rodent like creature saw it's own shadow,

so eight (8) more weeks of Winter Like Weather,

some folksie people predict...

 

The insanity of the Season is upon us again,

in the form of FootBall, not Soccer, as a majority

of people around here might think,

but American Football, PigSkin, uprights,

and other stuff...

 

Walking around after bicycling in the morning and

notice 3+ kids running with packages,

having too much fun, nothing to stop them on,

but about a block up notice a woman coming out

from around where the kids might have ran around,

and shedding a tear, which she wiped off,

before crossing the street...

 

No screaming or anything, but ambulances/ fire truck(s)

were about that time/next, so maybe they stole packages,

killed someone, and / or other problems...

 

In low light, just after dark, not sure, what was going on,

but something was up, shoplifting? Or something worse?

Armed robbery, and a bag full of money...

Could be as harmless at running for a bus,

to make a very important date, you never know,

benefit of the doubt, and all...

 

I am more careful, not fearful, but more observant,

and continue on my rounds, getting errands done,

checking prices and returning places to buy what

was there before, and I had made a list,

of various places...

 

Another TracFone, ZTE Z665C OLD!

 

An office store had TracFones on sale for ~$10,

might have ended by today, not sure,

didn't get specifics, but tried to get the sales thing,

down $75+ or so, and they must have used

the original list price, and current values,

are much much less,

ZTE seems to be the manufacturer,

they have the

PrePaidCellPhonesUpGrade2016

model, which I already have three of,

and notice, with comments and the box

being withheld from me, had to look for it,

am I buying it?, and then probably didn't scan

it correctly (nothing on the receipt says

Activated), my rights not really protected,

It includes a 4 Gig MicroSD card, takes up to

32 Gig card (not provided) and no earphones,

nor microphones, etc... Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean,

not KitKat which is 4.4 or so, so well back,

from Back, (MarshMellow / Nuegut (sp?)

is near current?) and single core,

but a different manufacturer to learn about,

a camera which seems better, 3 MegaPixel,

only rear facing, but focusing?

and when trying it, an upgrade option for

putting something on an SD card,

but the usual legalese on the back,

will not work with SafeLink, and while 3G

ZTE Z665C

OPK-TFZ665C

expects you to buy stuff, airtime cards, and

revolving expenses type problems like that,

instead of a good product working for the

fees that others pay on their FiOS, Cable,

and other TeleComm bills,

Universal Usage charge, or whatever it is...

 

So another dumb terminal,  when in a WiFi

area, and might solve one of the current

problems, running up against the 2 Gig

limits of the other one, but

• no FM radio,
• no Dual Core,
• no KitKat,
• no BlueTooth LE so no CHiP, Lumi, controlling, limited audio, etc
• different onscreen keyboard

maybe a little bigger screen, have to check,

but CopyRight 12/13 so older, by year(s)...

 

Groceries

 

Proceed to groceries, and a van or car

of housing program people (CRS?)

are at the grocery store, maybe a peer

specialist doing errands of taking them shopping

en masse, some arguing amongst people,

but he walks away from her, after words,

they wait for a manager for a held purchase,

and overwhelming the cashier, who almost

doesn't give me my cash back, which others

now know I have and have had problems

going back, like trying to mug me...

 

Talk Football While Walking

 

Walking along towards back home and

overtake an elderly black man,

(I'm 53, so need to be more careful with whom

I call elderly, as I remember a bit of the Sixties

and "Don't Trust Anyone Over Thirty" ...)

with a cane, start talking to him, going the same way,

not much faster than him and safety in numbers,

all of which I don't really say... He's rooting for

the underdog Falcons, I didn't know until

recently who was even playing, and

New England gets all the fame,

maybe Blue Bloods, he can mention the calls,

that show the refs may be a little biased,

I talk about the Slate.com? article(s) I read recently,

the people doing concessions waiting hours

unpaid to just get to the stadium by provided bus,

one woman collapsing after 12-16 hours on her feet,

and the trainer showing up, saying something was

worse, after joking about drug testing in the

San _Clara?_ near Francisco new stadium

for last year's Big Game...

Part Time no benefits, stadiums not really

helping economies, NFL making the most money,

their donation magically cut in half, and other

lobbying and issues mentioned...

 

And one by Wired about what technologies are

being used to over surviell (sp?) / spy on citizens

(StingRay?) in the names of Anti Terror,

and protect, only second to Inauguration

(see Innauguration2017 for some little bits of local...)

He introduces himself, and we shake hands,

walking by police, him protecting me from gangs,

informally, and me protecting him from police,

don't be alone, no alibi (sp?)...

 

DrugStore Accused Me

 

My list almost done, stop at one of the chain stores,

where I got most of the other TracFones,

but a different store, and one of the listed Drones,

also another store, and she had a problem

with the receipts, the machine ate the paper,

so no paper of what I bought, but my bank

would verify the amount, this time she thinks

I'm stealing, and I get attacked again after

all the customers had left, three staff at registers

and no truck yet for the new sales starting

Sunday...  I'm trying to buy $20 of groceries

from a drug store, the $1.50 each can of soup,

how many times, to add to rice, for flavoring,

and avoid sugar, plus two Rice Chex,

while somewhat sweet, better than what

I would normally do, and those are on sale,

using coupons that did come out,

rebates really, and it went over $20 but

paying with those, and magically my $5 back

seems to have not shown up on the new receipt,

and / or she stole it?  It's on the card,

which I can't see, so don't believe her again,

maybe she was the one that I had problems

with and had to go to corporate, at least

one of the two, and she thinks because her

mom works there/ owns the place that she

does and can play god, saying I can't  buy

sale items, only a few hours before they go

off sale...  Someone tries to offer to take

the bags to the car, but I don't drive there,

so another way of trying to steal from me,

and asking me to make a call, trying to steal

a phone, another problem, etc...

 

So it seems that police maybe were tracking

a gang or other crime spree, and maybe

they provide false evidence/ witness

blaming me for something, the usual

Kill Whitey, type scenario, I'm so tired of...

 

So about $50 purchased at the drug store yesterday,

no cash back from there, and I'm supposedly a

criminal shoplifting or something???

 

Still on the scan of the newer phone,

which the previous cashier/ customer service guy,

sells that same company but mine is so old,

I can't even discover, until after I commit to buying

it because they have to go back, because

they hide the product from customers,

only a $10 phone, while more expensive

is out there, some saying the company

TracFone is going under, and likely FUD

(Fear Uncertainty and Doubt),

like their rice is bad, and other we don't have

so what you just bought is crap type stuff...

Conclusion

 

Summary of experience or similar

 

Poverty still sucks, the wilding is getting

worse, immigration issues abound,

people being scared, and a little ray of

drugs, alcohol and other gambling in SuperBowl

Madness, and people go nuts, I guess partying

before the party, buying drugs in the open air

drug markets, using cross jurisdictional

boundaries to escape capture, and

overworked police puling over people, etc,

all par for the course...

What pre-party stuff do you do?

 

Start the binge before the big game,

and not end it until in Jail/Prison/ Detox/

Hospital/ Grave???

 

Or abstain from all of that, and just watch

the reruns of commercials after the fact?

 

Play the geek and do something else entirely?

Like flash a  BlueTooth/ Pi Zero to remote control

your own Robot Ball Players?

And throw in a SmartBall in or something?

 

Rewire a V2 RoboSapien which was probably

wired faultily in the first place according to

some YouTube innerds (sp?) videos...
