Looking around for a thrift store one,
a book

had mentioned some might be
at thrift stores, for $5
and luckily found one.
Getting home was interesting.
Sales clerk, after plugging in to show
it lit, had a hospital bag
(later wondered on cleanliness)
and wanted to staple it,
worried, i guess about me carrying
on my mobility device bike...
But like a football, and not fumbled,
got it back, without damage,
that i can tell...
Soak the pan for getting the paddle out.
DishWash the pan/mixer.
Wipe out the crumbs left behind.
Look up the device model
for an instruction manual.
Read some review site(s),
One mentioned too quiet alarm/buzzer,
but not experienced for me,
tried during the day,
instead of early am, time to keep an eye on it,
and quick bread cycle time short,
maybe a week later,
an Aldi Baker's Corner Cinnamon Swirl
Quick Bread mix,
as a standard, trying known, before some
not sure the 1 pound
1.5 nor 2 pound mix makes limit,
the pan and maker are smaller, it seems,
450 Watts power, iirc on the back label,
and wonder, the differences, the paddle
shape a little different than the
HamiltonBeachBreadMaker2019
bigger? less angled,
and edges lopped off
more square than rectangular pan,
but seems to have the same type mixer
connection to the bottom,
so will have to see if the smaller
pan fits in the larger machine,
and determine if that is safe to try,
adjusting times, for smaller volume/
mass, etc...
As a secondary, replacement/
emergency pan/tin, so doing one
and the other, maybe at the same
time, or one sweet, one regular,
cornbread and dessert, or other
try stuff small batch and other
double juggling type stuff,
Cycles are different, no quick bread
setting like the
HamiltonBeachBreadMaker2019
so did a White
less than an hour and worried
that didn't match the instructions
on the box, nothing about bread machine,
but done a few times already on the
HamiltonBeachBreadMaker2019
After light topped bake
trying a mode change
(to bake?),
and got an E error number_?
maybe not cooled down and
willing to start a cycle when not
cooled?
Annoying if cannot add time,
if not done,
and spend more time carefully
with Darkness of Crust as the
adjusting a few mins bake time
change...

provenance, as antiques dealers may call it,
while some claiming they gave it to me,
some worries of stolen from an older/ rich,
maybe dead type person,
as thrift stores, may be where sick/ elderly
and just have too many gadgets end up going,
especially church related thrift stores,
but predators likely making up a thing
to try to get something,
typical of the BadLands...

Seems like a good way to start,
not how I did, not my first machine...
And jumped in the deep end on a sale

Seems as if left unclean,
food particles, but not insects
seen in nor around, might be an
issue for some,
but at $4.50 for what is normally
$40+ new, might be a tradeoff...
OCD cleanliness for some,
might be an issue with thrift stores,
unknown provenance (like mileage/
engine flight hours), for others...

May seem like a lot,
but after almost ruining the motor
with masa on the newer/ larger
possibly better known

investing $4.50 or so,
seemed to have some pennies
back which were left in a heart shaped
give a penny, take a penny by the register,
so a tax charged, iirc...
Brand Loyalty
Have a rice cooker by B&D
and general machismo type
it's a tool, not cooking utensil
attitude, some humor possible,
but didn't happen with clerk,
and onlooking predator(s)...
Assumptions
Cheaper is better
Smaller is OK for a secondary,
same pan would have been good
for an interchangeable backup,
but smaller might fit in larger,
not the other way around...
learning from a second data point good...
Time Limits
Finding at a thrift store,
very lucky, for $4.50 or so...
Marked down a couple times,
and have to see...
Clerk plugged it in,
lit up, but not tried motor,
paddle didn't turn,
but not sure why,
wonder of parts,
bottom opens with screws,
possible belt ageing.forcing turn cracks?
and other issues...
Used to start, so not sure amount of use,
and home models known to not last as
long as one would like...

After some difficulty getting it out,
asked for counter guy help,
bought it and anxious to try it,
not what i went in for,
and ended up spending more on this,
but had checked before and they turned
up some, or remembered i had asked
though some predatory person(s) hanging
around and typical of gang, church/ fellowship
problems of MYOB Mind Your Own Business
stalking in a GangLand like area(s)...
