Go to pay a bill,

and fall into a trap/

scam, perpetrated before,

because sales breaks

the kiosk, and 

forces you to talk to,

and give a credit card to

sales...  While discrimination

and other problems, ageism,

ableism, and other common problems

abound...

It's happened before,

the old place had a line,

and crowded, but then they

made a kiosk, automated,

just for payments,

and swipe a card, to make the payment

in person, but not have to deal with

nasty clerks, testy people who hate

the customers, and play tricks on people,

to try to get information, like with

MeltDown, Spectre, etc, people

over hearing and using our personal info,

for their ill purposes, so you have to speak

in a crowded line/ waiting area,

while many are on their phones,

typing things in, and/or recording

the information, cameras ready,

and waiting, to capture the problem,

and/or sensitive personal information,

including loitering staff...

 

A kiosk handles much of it,

but the overstaffed people trying

to sell things, and mysteriously the

kiosk is broken again, i am told,

having to get permission to go to

it in the first place, in the back of the bus,

essentially, a paper taped

on the screen, out of order,

but unlike a sign on the door,

out to lunch, no time of coming

back in 5 minutes

(relative and not grounded

in real time, unknown start time...

likely perpetual hold/wait),

or something more

definitive like a real hour, 10 am,

2 pm, etc... 

 

Attitudinally challenged sales people

nearby, milling around, swarming,

they need something to do,

we have no customers, we can help

you, really not likely, given the past

experiences with same, step this way,

no the swipy machine doesn't work,

also covered over, this not a sign,

but literature, clutter, and blocking

seeing a private way of keeping

your information private,

we type it in, therefore getting your

private code, if not stealing your card,

claiming, falsely it is not you,

phone number, out loud,

for all to hear, you are x?

how much,

need to tie my shoe laces,

while waiting, their noses in the machine,

says here you have an iPhone,

owe money, or similar thing we can't see,

an invisible and likely made up debt,

you are carrying, are wanted for,

and cannot answer to,

as sales does credit checks,

you are a late/slow payer, 

because our kiosk is not working,

hourss not convenient,

and mailing it in take too long,

and using open wifi to pay

not advisable, and the people are nasty,

the customer is a problem, they

are not rich and paying us for the new

crap, same as the old crap, they

can't even keep working,

the simpiler kiosk machine,

near the window, and passersby

on the street can see it,

like an ATM machine in plain

view of what you are typing in,

a bus stop right there,

turn around and get the information,

likely homeless nearby ASPAN,

criminals and others, nothing better to do

than to get identity to steal,

take their place, they don't need it

as much as we, the great unwashed

do, breadlines and street people,

much less nearby court and other problems,

the fast food place, across the street, gone,

and still a vacant lot, wonder what

high rise will replace,

if ever, or safer not having a split road,

one side one way, another another,

but we only trap people here,

call them unclean, frauds,

and thieves, when it's the next gen

that are running the monopoly,

idle rich, working, because they have

to snicker at the poor,

and disabled, and white,

supposedly technically illiterate,

we have to tell you about the specials

we have, no we don't have price lists,

hidden costs, terms, only available online,

it changes so quickly, so have to look it

up, if you have a connection, let us see

your phone, in a store that sells the new

mobile internet, new crap on top of the

old crap, like voice commands for remotes,

and other privacy problems, microphones

and cameras in bedrooms, hack those

and you might have something interesting,

we are protecting your home, if you buy

that service too, but really,  we monitor you,

instead of the paid criminals that work

there, and spy on you...

 

So attitudinally challenged

sales snickering at the poor, the baggy

and it's unsafe to actually go and pay

on time, we have a complaint against you

because you can't drive/park/ride,

you must wait for buses,

and other forms of unreliable,

costly, and discriminating forms of transit,

more cancellations, schools down,

wind storm, and newspapers, and just

plain debris on the road, a construction mesh

plastic covering part of the bike lane,

and other branches and stuff,

in the way, 40+ mph winds,

and pushed over, almost, especially

around the high rises, funneling winds,

high winds making it worse, the low

rises, and other places spaced apart,

not trapping as much like the area where people

are brought, detention, and jail

nearby, the last time, jury duty

and could not even keep the jury 

safe, attacked while serving,

but nothing about that,

doing service,

really treated like criminials

you have to appear, or in contempt,

when the system seems broken,

only the lawyers and professionals

are to know what is going on,

and we are the police, sheriff,

judge, bailiff, and likely gang/

police, and others fixed against

you, the good people, supposedly,

doing your once in a lifetime service,

hopefully,  to convict a black man

likely, for being black in Virginia,

unlike the opposite in DC

just across the Mason Dixon/ nope

succeeded (sp?) line, of the racial divide,

of the river, Potomac, and other

barriers to advancement,

of troops, populace, and survival,

for many......
