tried a couple tasks, though not registered,
as a poor person, and stated goals not not excluding
etc have to wonder if i'd be left behind like the fall

The usual suspects, like for BTWD2019
and/or the much smaller WBTWD2019
an organized event, with volunteers,
a BikeReg/ payment processing site
to register, but fill out this Google Form
to ask for a scholarship/ taking registration
from ~$40-45 down to $10,
but still not enough for me,
went month plus wondering where my registration
stuff was, not getting an email,
and then night before (read early am)
and after the registration deadline, the site went
close before the event, and no on site registration
afaict, excluding me entirely, but went anyway,
talk to the people i got email from about it,
and they were too busy, and i didn't want to talk
to them anyways, already feeling left out,
and excluded, despite their stated goal of
finances not being a limiting factor,
it was, in my case, not even having the $10
to pay, at that time, forgot my laundry rolls
of quarters, which still need for laundry
and other stuff, so a registration desk
with event t shirts, (but not for me...)
the usual guy on the microphone
was a fmr PhoenixBikes ED
now BikeArlington and an emergency woman
Samantha? , i video taped,
digitally the instructions,
as key to the whole thing
(for people like me)
is probably being fodder
for an emergency, and non professionals,
mixed in with Law Enforcement and other
people trying to play heroes,
kids were there, one right next to me
while I was recording the speaker(s)
doing instructions,
and introductions,
(strip out visuals, a few stills and audio,
make a transcript of what was said?
likely not happening, but what might be needed/
idears)
the surprise locations
were revealed about 30 minutes before,
handing out sheets (can i have one?),
bikes supposed to have stickers/
numbered license like plates
and the person i was to talk to
would have been interrupted as on the podium
like stand above, with microphone,
registration pointing to who i would have to talk to,
and getting fidgety kids, trailer cargo,
the precious ones, and some stuffed animals,
how they are saved,
tasks being deliver water, bring your own jugs,
containers, might be out when you get there,
a water filtration system down by the river,
down the big hill, i'd have to go back and forth
three times, and that was not on course,
I went home and got my quarters,
most people would have to take care of themselves,
and their loved ones in an emergency,
the standard put the oxygen mask on yourself
first, as a passed out emergency worker
doesn't do much good, to anyone, and a victim
instead of helper/ professional

So privacy issues,
already wanted how one qualified
(various federal programs, TANF, etc),
but say an AFAC or other local food pantry

only North Arlington was good enough,

but the AFAC WareHouse on S. Nelson St
was another site,
the drop off point for what is picked up
from Quincy,
having done an errand/ self care a bit,
with trailer, even on Rt50
even talking to people about it,
seems like enlisting help from others,
and team work would be more important,
the standard help a recruit over the wall,
was the Phoenix stop at the sandbox
just before the finish, and intro instructions
were it can not be your first stop,
water down hill might be the first,
a county /Bike Arlington bike map
(comfort map maybe more helpful

before the start, just went home,
a regular day, get my trailer, and go do things

to warehouse , needed work,
trays and individual cans, already dirty,
didn't bend/ damage any, and a soft bottom,
weight wasn't too bad, coming down SuperMan hill,
asked how long, and a time limited event,
didn't count, none of it did,
but a write in, and waited for the waves of real riders
real heroes, we disable can't be,
we have to be second class/
separate but not equal type dead
if this were a real emergency, sim FAILs...
