Walked along the 4 Mile Run,
starting around where the safe and
grocery cart (Home something instead)
has been for a month or so now,
Trolls2015 bridge at Columbia
Pike now working on the bridge
near Arlington Mill Community Center,
it will be wider, on that side,
and cars somehow narrower
a dangerous high step off,
and passing by with 6' distancing
impossible, while working on
upgrades along Columbia Pike
and put a wider sidewalk,
a mess, like MixingBowl
East in the South where i
used to live, below in Mount Vernon,
(called Alexandria, but in FairFax County)
along Route 1
(not the nice by the River, that was

goes through road, bridge/ etc construction hell
and then told to move
(decade + wait for Section 8/
later called Housing Choice Voucher
only to be stolen by

i guess the poor just are around

So along the stream, early am,
not very early, as was up doing
laundry, you see someone was sick
near me, and i had some

clothes on, and that won't do,
perhaps looking a little white
man on safari or something
new thick warm tan vest,
grey sweats,
but the woman ahead o fme
in line, they were early
went light headed?
or something, she's sick,
people rush to her,
have a seat,
she gets passed,
no where to go really,
and pulls in behind me,
i leave some food for the people
behind me, she gets it, i guess,
and waits to talk to me
behind me, not knowing
until later then seems to follow
me, she is called off elsewhere
someone says her mom is sick,
unspecified, i guess, mental issues
it seems, and that from someone who
is known to have them (me)
confusion, something idk,
later guess Ramadan (Fasting)
and light headed getting up,
but all sorts of Panic and other things,
everything is PanDemic,
so they guess that,
i guess otherwise,
overweight, bad food for decades/
likely a lifetime, and whatever
other issues, not really my place
to say, just as it affects me,
nearby, i take off things,
shower, change my bedding
(about time anyways)
let sit (virus dies in 4 days?),
later wash everything
early am, Earth Day,
Vaccine 2 show, first day
eligible, got a quick early
afternoon appointment,

Everything is green now,
was brown the last trip
down/over, along the trail,
takes a long time, to walk
the 5,6-10k or whatever
by the time i go back,
explore, do errands along
the way, etc...
Had stopped by Wifi at the
Community Center took a long
time in the cold, it was 35-53F
day temp range day,
and i'm wearing shorts,
but the big fluffy new vest
washed, and tired from
stress of wondering if it's
going to be another

turned into a double, now
triple header/ 3 event/s things
to do in a day, where just one
(laundry, Vaccine, parts)
would wipe me out,
and since i have book due
soon, take that to the Shirlington
Library, now an express location
and drop off there, saves a trip
as likely down after with all
the activity stress, shot, etc...
See a few greening trees,
urban area cars, buses, roads,
stuff, get to the bridge,
take of water, stream,
the pretend nature in the
urban environment
where the criminals hide
to pounce on unsuspecting
likely white women,
while they are not dumb,
they know the dangers,
and liked having others around,
i'd scared off some,
other times the women protected
me, later underpass,
joggers talking to someone on the
other end of the phone and
comments about what they
see/ hear/ is happening around
them, talking to others/ likely
girlfriends, etc...
Chatting away, those walks
likely keep people alive,
cooling off so they don't kill
their husbands, kids, neighbors,
etc... I heard it on YouTube
or something, it must be true,
walking groups save lives...

no vest, they are on the other
side, not the dog towards me,
but worried a bout fall into the
stream, but dog has nature
to sniff and pee / poop in,
and a well worn path there too,
i guess since the Animal Shelter
is nearby, they maybe are out for
their fostering/ visiting time,
nice to get out of puppy/ pet/stray
jail, might get clemency/ sprung,
freed from a life/death sentence

someone i've never heard of,
but it's a golden, named after
a guy i find difficult tolearn about,
but he died, and was Fire and Rescue
so the dog Jim? Kovacs?
is named after him,
and the picture, looks Golden,
i had two growing up,
first was wide, female light
stocky,turned out hip displaysia (sp?)
grows to fast, misalighed/ problems,
a genetic defect, Goldens are/were
so popular they tried breeding
those things out, but not all worked,
don't know for a while, (and likely
genetic engineering options now)
we moved to the city, for my parents
job they summarily put her to a farm,
we went to visit, literally a farm,
not to pasture/ (read dead)
but later likely lost her
(dog years and time goes on)...
the second, a replacement
more Irish setter dark, from the
Mid West, pet quality a breeder
had a big litter flown in to airport
first thing i saw was big paws,
little puppy likely scared,
cold, or knowing Goldens
puppies/ spoiled rotten along the way,
but mine, finally got a dog again,
and barricading in the kitchen,
usually failed, things to clean up,
crating seemed mean,
some control in an uncontrollable
situation, big city, no friends to speak
of, locked in as a latch key kid,
but out to find / get the dog,
usually ran away, i would have
had i thought of it, known how,
but the dog had sense to,
i didn't...
Fast forward through college,
dog stayed with dad,
he had girlfriend/ fiance,
married while i moved to school,
civil ceremony, not invited,
just them, StepMonster,
etc, lost her first husband,
and fears, later, etc..
But she had cookies, snacks,
something different,
and kept him off my back,
literally picking on me,
that i guess is a family trait
for all his clinical like personality

anyways, lonely boring,
yelled at, and other problems,
most wouldn't know came home
and drank, much less than a lot,
i guess, but just me and him,
by t he time i got the nerve to ask

other life demands)
it was late,
and got yelled at, he had
been drinking for a while by then,
and the bones in fish,
there are no bones in the fish,
then find a bone,
like Pink Floyd Video eat it,
i didn't eat it, but critical,
he tried his best, but certain
fish have bones and some eat
around i don't like food biting me back,
salmon abou the only one
that doesn't / big enough to find easily,
so lox, he's likely got developing heart
problems, and needs to do low fat,
non red meat, we had been switched
to Low Fat/ Non Fat milk,
other stuff tasted like cream,
after a while, etc...
I'd wandered all over the woods
looking for the dog, never really
new how he got out, nor how
found, and angry at having to look,
and the cycle continues,
but it was out, and about
not stuck in/ now called
lock down...
So been in nature,
did part of a grade for self
defined project, do number of
projects for grade level,
so made one on spring of cleaning
in the park, she/ they upped it to
a bag per grade, so 3 bags?
trash bags collecting trash
in the park, took a while,
i was driving dad's / the family
car and Audi, nice but the kids
thought i was mine, instead,
a nice car for a kid, but it was the
family and only car, a BMW
on the other side, mom had,
old model 2002, never did
get to d rive that, she sold it
for my sibling to go to school/
college... learned on a Ford
Fiesta on a sandy driveway,
how to shift gears, down to the
water front / dock, mom stayed
house sat, were we sailed
had boats with a club,
i think sibling had left already
for college, so my junior/
senior year, turns out there
was a guy charged with
child molestation/ abuse,
liked boys or something,
but never bothered me,
there was a room never to go
in, and be careful of him,
etc... Munster family or somesuch,
not talked about but i guess
why we were there,
some deal to have others around,
not left along, and monitored or
something... idk too young
to know and now not anyone
alive to tell me... been decades
(3-5x+ now)... Sibling a little
older may know...
Adult stuff, anyways, nature,
sailing and out looking for the dog,
who got a way a lot, i could/
probably should have run/
biked with him, but got off
and left him at home,
walking and cleaning up,
flea bath, feeding, brush,
trim nails, etc...
our first was field trained,
i was a kid and some TV show
with kids and dog(s) and
was on it, but didn't like it,
privacy was a problem even
back the, bright red hair,
dog matches my hair,
same weight , height,
hair color, we were a pair,
and when lost, nuclear,
no friends, etc,
likely signs of autism/
dyslexia / dysgraphia,
symptoms of the family
disease of alcholism,
looking Irish (assume whiskey

but not, neighboring Welsh,
Appalachia, roots, Country

so civilized and thought better,
not farming but not big city/ towns
Adventures visiting, were
hit a deer along a deserted stretch,
going up river to grand parents,
usually bored, tried sleeping,
deer incident hit, while i was down,
worried, you try to find the deer
if hit by a car, in a section where
deer out number people,
and late/ odd traveling,
grand parent(s) were Volunteer Fire
and Rescue (includes ambulance)
that was where the pig/ roast
cookout big event was,
and they played with bonfires,
and had lots/ good food,
not that grandma's wasn't
just eating out while rural,
grandma's pies,
blueberry in particular,
my fav, rhubarb, stringie stuff,
but sweet and different,
we had with a sharp new york
cheddar, i'd eat and sleep,
and basically be spoiled rotten,
she doted on us, and we
cared, but i had an objective
teen age distance, she complained
getting hit with the dogs tail
was like a rope, excited dog,
brought where ever we went,
no sitters for us,
and farm dogs were out in the shed,
hunting, and slept out,
Springer/Britney? Spaniels,
bigger, and probably wondered why
the Golden got inside,
no Fair, etc...
My aunts dog, don't remember what
now, sibling might, find old photos,
were were dog people, while
we probably had a cat,
died before we moved,
along the time we had
a foster? i don't remember
much of that time, too young,
couldn't see, hadn't gotten
glasses yet, imagine not being
able to see, and they wonder
why you can't don't read...
Much less what are those
wires between the poles with
no branches/ leaves...
An odd world without some
complete info, for some...
Anyways, Grocery store,
bathroom, plan b, alternative,
early, but was longer at
the end then i remember
last time, time slips away,
