I'm torn between

saying what is going on in my life,

and what would be prudent to save myself

from the harms of being public

about some things,

perhaps like Pink Floyd's recently seen

We Shall OverCome?

So $1200 found me, eventually,

and it seems rather risky,

with a SSN and a little more info,

and violating federal law,

like with voting registration

(paper ballots necessary for a lot now)

you can find out

where someone is / was,

to some degree of specificity,

disconcerting to have an address

pop up on one of the many check

to find where the check/ direct deposit

might have been?

and reported, about the same day/

next day it appeared,

I'm SSDI and rumors of garnishment

and other problems, besides a lot of

uncertainty, after being told poorest first,

and then all the loopholes and problems,

delays,

maybe they don't have the right info?

while others are getting paid

not to work,

a lot weren't really working before,

afaict, and then the seniors dying/

taken to hospital like concentration camps,

likely can't breath, and die in isolation,

the sick

"i regret i only have one grandparent to give"

similar to war time one child to give

to a World War effort, but this

more senseless than even war...

 

One place gave me a set (2) of cloth masks,

hand made, likely so would not be breathing

on them, and with a paper towel was able

to use, and need better dental care,

if not exercising not too bad,

i've worn them for welding,

and can't breath well that way,

 

I've went coughing though the street

and crosswalk after passing something,

maybe sprayed,

likely dry and allergy, caught in my throat,

look they are sick,

let's get them killed,

whisked away by "bus"

aka ambulance,

to die alone in a hospital,

can't even see the faces of the people

isolating and killing you,...

How inhumane...

 

and someone crowded into a laundry

room, forcing their way in violating

the standing 6' order,

instead of leaving me be alone,

and basically forcing me out,

trying to catch up, one machine down

for months, and a backlog,

a rainy day, and got some done,

others were redoing, a second time

for a sudsy load, and people waiting,

upset, disturbing their Sunday routine,

i guess, took me hours, and needed

to have some clothes to wear,

down to next to nothing, bottom wise,

difficulty finding t shirts, have some

but not matching the activities...

underwear,  using bike shorts as

outerwear, they are, but usually have

shorts with pockets over them,

for carrying all the crap i usually do,

recording, purchasing, food,

finding routes, logging, look up,

take photos, etc...

So with some excess, not really,

and other demands,

pay some backlog of bills,

get current, and new season stuff,

more to do, and running short already,

even without the

hidden they missed  reinspection

cut the payments, then never got letter

and a back door kind of go around to others

and surprise have thousands owed,

but since the inspection was invalid,

then JustSayNoToConVid2020

hit and so many others lost income,

a hold on evictions/ processing,

and then all of a sudden,

Pence, etc not wearing a mask,

some economy means we start up again,

even if it's not safe, and what metrics,

state by state, the bodies piled up,

nameless faceless seniors,

showing toes blue/ discoloured,

part of virus problems,

not that different than walking 10-20 miles

on feet run over, bad shoes, wrong size,

and I bought a few things mostly for my

sanity:

The further Aldi and along walk there,

got an earlier start, and checking stuff along

the way, got there 45? mins before closing,

my second/ third day walking, and rain

forecast, drips,

~$20  normally $50-60? but the last one,

so at that price, i'll try it,

about a 20 pound box

(later read in instruction booklet),

about the size of a seat

and put together in the time waiting for laundry

between loads, mostly washer,

dryer and ran out of $20 in quarters,

some still wet, and sheets/ jeans,

etc more to do, besides bed bug

special handling type things

(sleeping bags, jackets,

stuffed animals, etc)

 

Assembly, whole thing folds,

plastic molded handles with brake levers,

the seat folds up, a little bag under that,

some might think a toilet built in,

and might be a problem mobility

problems, and getting on and off the

toilet likely a problem, too...

it's a walker not a wheel chair,

cheap canes/ about $6 each and try one

of each, shape and keep solid shape

on biking (my first time in a long while)

battery crapping out, lights ok,

but power lost mysteriously,

heat related?

not charging mid way,

with the wait list app,

takes me a long time, several

sets go before me while trying to

register for that, but had a seat/

kinda/ straps cutting into my

shoulders,

Pez didspensers (collect all 4

bunny1, bunny2, lamb/sheep, etc)

a creme filling, sweet, used to cover

like icing, but includes other stuff,

not just sugar, some don't like...

snack for getting back,

but waited til home

As you might imagine,

a first without my mother,

larger holidays were skipped over,

my birthday, thanksgiving,

xmas, new years, super bowl,

Easter, but this one is just about mom's

so not a lot of getting around not having

one...

Don't have to buy anything,

go visit, pretend to be nice,

and happy, dress well, etc,

but also not much else to do

besides, perhaps buying the

Aging in Place since so much

is Shelter in Place/ LockDown

orders, seeing what it's like being

older, and if that is something i want,

not that there is much choice,

in the matter...

not much on what i thought i would do,

took photos of the rollanator? /

but stranded again by Public Transit/WMATA,

they are having problems, likely

saturday afternoon waited 2 hours

for a bus that wasn't coming,

exhausted, thirsty, not finding things,

but left there, eventually some people

passing by, some thought

not on time,

and a Latino guy in broken English

bus not coming

went looking online, gMaps

showed times expected by schedule,

and WMATA trip planner

bus not reporting,

after thinking i was in Anacostia,a

nd other routing, location problems,

by stop number and waited through the

7.12 pm after two hours wondering

very tired thirsty, just wanted to be

home planned my route, to get

the help home, knowing battery problems,

walking and pedaling the thing with no

power, short, and legs hitting,

bag hitting button,

and jammed/ risking all sorts of things,

backpack,

messenger bag

 

and big duffel (sp?)

shopping stuff, shoes

($10-15 new model memory foam

sneakers after wet gardening like

boots similar price)

have to get them while you can,

Easter bucket(s) $2 for 4

one each color, mix something,

small amount s of water,

containers for something

besides the glass

felt bucket $1.25

hard candies, keep cookies

in glass, but narrow opening

decanter like silicone, similar

shape, different seasonal arrival,

holiday red and other assortment...

 

Work Lights, LED and power bank,

about... but relatively heavy...
