BikeThePuke, as I'm calling it,

a fake CritMass, imnsho

was to raise awareness of transportation inequities

along the Columbia Pike,

South Arlington, VA,

but fell short

of a real CritMass,

Imho.

Critical Mass, unlike KidicalMass,

is a more radical,

but not terrorist movement,

starting with China,

where vehicles Mass Up and

those with the most, go thru,

where there probably isn't even a stop sign,

traffic light, and the trappings of 1st World

industrialized countries...

 

Bikes are traffic.

Riding is fun, when done well,

and CritMass brings some of that back.

 

Infrastructure is mostly designed

for cars where some lazy bastards

cannot nor will not give way to the more vulnerable,

since they are rich and likely, you are not.

It's the Fried Green Tomatoes syndrome,

we have better

insurance, f.u. ...

 

Here is some of what went wrong:

Running it as a regular ride

RSVP

Ride Marshalls

Hierarchical structure

Waiting at stops

 While polite society,

it misses the Mass...

We are majority,

we make the rules,

in a peaceful non polluting

Perhaps lining your own pockets

at the cost of other's lives, like the people

killed on the roads while silenced

and then make a park playground,

learning loop,

but nothing about someone(s)
