BlueTooth and rechargeable, for $10
each, plus some other stuff...

So generic type low graphics packaging,
in a display with a lot of things in similar appearance,
bluetooth speakers, battery banks, earphones,
USB cables, etc...
Look at the packaging, see what information there is
colour choices: blue, green, pinkish, and grey, iirc.
pinkish is out, for me, but the others, few grey ones,
maybe i should have gotten one of the rare colours,
but buy a blue first, and see...
QRCode on it, but no link, i could not check while there,
without a data plan, so have to go to home wifi first,
and had some walking and bus to do,
because they didn't do my CaBi CaBisCrap2017
CaBiWalker2017 and AnUnEventfulWeekend2017 ?
renewal, even months
after YouthBikeSummit2017 video up and
contact after, still not doing it, but
many more booths/ tabling selling things
to others, but not me,
read discrimination, and no action....
Also bought a $10 battery bank to charge
while waiting, but had to turn it on, and on, and on,
seems to not recognize as a device attached while charging,
maybe low drain, or auto off type stuff?
(and both GEMS devices/ components,
don't they test even on their own stuff???)
while vibrating during the charge,
(one of three complaints by local fed
security attack dogs...)
the clip says easy, but not really,
3-4 prongs on the back, with springs,
and can't really get it attached easily,
it turns and does't seat well,
and taking off it is too big,
without the strap, and backwards, upside down,
not working, as nothing to clamp against,
taking it out of the silicone like band, strap,
with aluminum clasp, no watch strap type loop provided,
two prongs, long, a measure against on the box,
but not saying wrist, or what, just guessed,
and bought, to try,
see if helpful, and get another, as likely need a second
charger, thinking the USB to clip prong thingie
would get bent, lost, need multiple places,
take one with me, say out a long time,
says a 5 day charge, meaning up to 5 day charge,
and lights up, small LED like display,
in kilometers, steps, and date time,
when turned on, now in February
and it's January, and time of day,
so maybe the app will fix that...
App is Limited Free Trial and No Data, AFAICT
So search Your Fitness and find something that looks like it,
but doesn't give me my data,
and is going to try to get money from me,
there are workouts, and library/ gallery of workouts,
challenges? or similar, but nothing just showing me
what i've been doing,
so the given app is useless, not sure if any other app
would do the data part, or locked into their app
only, and a paid one at that,
kind of like prepaid cell phones lower entry price,
but get money over time, by subscription based
marketing instead...
Hacking Alternatives
So maybe sniff the bluetooth with the paid app?
see what information would be given to just about
anyone capable of that, and for privacy,
plus anything helpful for getting my data off
a device I paid for, instead of writing and typing
it in myself, kind of the purpose of a bluetooth
device, afaict...
USB charging cable may be an option too,
will see, at least set the time and date,
kilometers to miles, might be a minimal goal,
of looking into that...

similar marketing on the packaging

even gold plated contact like ones
on the back of something that might be sweated upon
springs wear out, in the pins and clamp
get wet, and shower with it, and it's likely done,
showering about the time it may take to charge it up,
so make that part of a routine,
charge some each showering day,
and hope not showering where others get their
hot and likely sweaty little (thieving?) hands on it
like at a gym or pool, much less school(s)

For the cost of 2 regular priced,
or 5-10 cheap batteries for

i've got one of something different,
rechargeable and bluetooth,
to compare and see the differences,
and write this up...
Not gotten BlueTooth, nor USB working,
the app seems useless, and a fraud, but
maybe just me,,
likely not, will see...
