Well, the clock/ calendar rolled/

changed over but still more happening

that seems like 2020...

Some Good?

Surprise amount in checking account,

but not yet credited/ labelled as what it is...

Must be a low Stimulus amount "check"

not $2k, not even $600?

Or is my math wrong?

which is really odd,

who would have access to add?

Surprise balance, higher than expected,

but not a YEAH! $2k...

And doesn't seem to be the $600,

when i didn't even think they had decided

the Stimulus amount, Trump wanted higher

and the Defense bill overturn,

and all the roll out problems last time,

and suddenly something different,

so might have to wait for the bank

to finish processing and labeling things,

one of the problems of being awake overnight,

walked a bit yesterday, and

still waiting on a package,

the Cable to charge the SmartWatch,

which was $20, discounted to $10

and $5 shipping / handling

but 10% off first purchase online,

bought on Xmas day, decided Not

to buy the newer version watch,

didn't have the money,

and just stay / stick with the old one,

until it doesn't work, which it doesn't

because it won't charge,

without a working cable, and any

cable won't do,

fixing the one is unlikely break it open,

not screws, and a magnet, and pins

poking out without a spring, one

pin doesn't come out, nor stay

if held upside down or tap it trying to

get it loose, so a problem there,

never really liked the magnet,

likely to erase/ clear a key fob

or a magnetic stripe on a credit/debit card,

so rather dangerous to have around,

like sharpness in water proof/ resistant bags...

The two don't mix very well...

Bulk order the new watch would have

been free shipping but didn't have the money,

now past, but also not past,

my only real event type thing

was the build up game(s) on

Klondike2018

now a couple years into it,

another special event Xmas

trees, gifts, things to explore,

and ending that a little while ago,

trying to decide to take Gold,

which takes energy, Coal,

needed to make water from snow,

and keep things running

(ironically we actually had a coal stove

for a while, less trees and condensed power/

heat/ energy, pot belly stove like in a cabin

like suburban area, but not ours just using/

renting, and my mother's, so occasional

for me as dual/joint custody, every other

weekend, when not crammed with other

things to do/ overcommited, tired teen

just want to rest/ sleep...

Perhaps trying to make up for lost time...

I had put together a first car there,

a bought mystery never solved

the engine seized but not sure why,

an oil additive used, or something else,

my detective skills lacking, as not a

regular mechanic, first car, apartment

dweller, and odd interactions being asked

to do that in order to drive,

first car... But that was the relations

with some of mom's friends/

acquiantances (sp?),

odd to me, as only every other week,

sort of play catchup and way more social

than i, nor my dad, no visitors, people over,

really my entire life, he just worked,

and we had the dog, seemed peaceful

on one side, but also frustration, anger,

outbursts, if i needed or wanted anything,

i might get yelled at, which likely when

he was drinking at the end of the day,

i'm not sure how single parents do that,

and over committed on stuff,

country boy gone to the city,

finding a place that would take a dog,

of that size, apartments usually have

a weight limit, and already gave up

the first, but if i asked for things

when told could talk about anything

on one hand, but when i did

got yelled at, a double/ jeykl hyde

type response, not very sane/comforting

stable emotionally, imnsho,

but at the same time i haven't been

parenting others, as much,

so who am i to criticize?

Oppressive authoritarian like problems,

no real Community/ Family meetings,

as adult v. kid, overpowered

and yelled at, again authoritarian,

one big decision i went to mom

to overturn dad, college choice,

and turned into

2 years paid private college

was going to be 4 years paid

state school, and he had worked

for some state colleges, so

i guess knew but didn't then,

and wouldn't have been staff/ prof(s?)

never really that, iirc,

he was an English teacher

starting out, pre Ph.D. i guess...

 

But i digress, something a high

school math (Calculus) teacher used

to say, and on another tangent

(which seems more geometry,

but all math(s) right?

senior year classes don't really

get interested in things too many

other things going on...

college applications,

senior slump, prom,

any good weather, etc)

 

So 2020 is still being processed,

a few days in...

 

Mail is backed up, Virus cited

for origin of the shipment/ parcel/

package, a likely excuse...

Put in the order on Xmas day,

postal worker claiming it was

sent / sent back?

When I wasn't even talking to the

person, and find out it was incorrect,

lured to interact, but maybe

talking to others?

Packages are trapped by

SlumLords2013

not safely handled in the office,

too much work/ risk,

so left out, and recent police

report of caught someone stealing

packages, not here, but elsewhere

in Arlington...

Visiting the post office,

Trucks out, someone says

addressed to

the Asshole who got me fired

describes you to a T...

Not sure what that's about,

someone claims things about

what i'm supposedly getting,

and the only white guy target around?

Ironically in recovery someone had

an AssHole list, mostly be drivers

who cut you off, and supposedly

further in recovery, less AssHoles,

so 12Steps, etc:

an AssHole removing/removal tool,

nut really look in the mirror,

where have you been an asshole?

Someone seems to be following me

claiming his wife didn't have an abortion,

when missing the point entirely,

i don't know the relationship,

might have been the kid taking

care of the dog, stand here, wait

while we get something

(likely alcohol/party food

given New Years Eve)

in the store, dog can't go in

IDK, just saying hi to a Golden,

puppy like seemed nice enough

but what happened later,

she's available, turns out a shelter/

pound dog, been abused,

just traumatized, neutered/spayed?

since i touched the dog,

have to give the dog a bath,

and whatever stresses of another

year with that SOB,

he makes me give up my dog,

child equivalent,

pets usually are, and training

ground/ time for children,

but maybe can't don't want

to have children, so

there is the abortion equivalent,

and done to the child/ pet/

child equivalent...

PreNup, model, Au Pair,

fired for taking care of ,

or a Foster care situation,

IDK, against the rules to try

to pimp out the animals/

the emotional blackmail

of take the dog or it'll be

put down/ killed,

rescue animals and breed specific,

idk, some general shelter,

not that unlike homeless shelters,

but rules/ requirements are that

they get spayed/ neutered,

the pet over population problem,

and to end up in dire circumstances,

imaging if SpayNeuter/Forced Sterilization

happened with people, as for pet people

animals/ pets are human equivalents,

a pet is a first step to see if a couple

can care for someone/ thing else,

baby training basically,

being there, changing diapers/ cleaning up,

that nesting like impulse/ emotion

and that comes crashing down

with say a bad economy,

job change, relocation, overseas,

into a smaller place/ lose house

can't have a dog in apartment(s), etc...

Relationship gone sour,

abusive, exploitive (sp?), etc...

 

And i do know something about that,

not that great at relationships,

didn't grow up in one that was as

Norman RockWell as one might want,

as mentioned in ALittleBitCountry2021

and elsewhere on here,

many probably had it worse,

some much worse,

and blaming parents for problems

the statute of limitations on that runs

out at about age 30...

I'm 56? 57? doesn't really matter,

less than 60 and more than 55,

same shit, another year...

percentage wise not that different

when getting up there,

1/2 year makes a big difference

to a 2 year old,

quickly rounds from Terrible 2s

to Terrible 3s..  The No! and

defiance/ resistance, no

not doing potty, no, not giving up that toy,

No, No, No...

Later Adolescence differentiating,

and separating, individuating,

i think it's called...

But No, not flushing the turd/diaper,

finally potty trained but so diffficult

to control, and have so little of their

own, such precious turd,

my first one no the potty,

and they want to flush it?

don't we bronze it, like the baby shoes?

What waste?

Why?

 

Seems rediculus (sp?) to adults

but there might be some kid logic

in there... Keeping that wrapping

paper, it's got teddy bears on it,

dogs/ cats, Santa pictures,

ReinDeer, Rodolph, grandma's

writing, etc

On to GrandParents saving from

year to year,  down to kids

new each year, reusing paper,

and newer green concepts of

renewable reuseable, use that

nice tote bag, shopping elitism,

got at the finest of stores,

while traveling, say in Europe,

imported Chocolates, souvenier...

 

Or that Tree has to go,

Decorations down, new year

New Years Day, condo rules

say all Ornaments, lights,

down, and get those trees,

dry needles everywhere,

tinsel, etc out of here

fire hazards, collection times,

curb alerts, snow plowing, etc

 

But the accounting and people

going over budgets, splurging

it was called, and can we deal

bargain, to get what we want

as a child, if i combine my

birthday and Xmas can it get

glasses?  Seems like a necessity,

but when poor, how to do that?

and expensive glasses, exam,

contact lenses, etc...

Adds up to about $500+

in my case, iirc...

 

You see when you are old,

older, dental, vision, etc

all cost, and some how to pay

for those, when poor,

WindFalls, say the Stimulus

check is in that Category,

not all spending money,

some to Debt, some to current,

some saved, to Prudent Reserve/

Savings, some call it

and a Spending Plan

most consider a Budget,

new year might want to stick

to one, you do have a plan

right, a good one?

Congress tries to,

many make resolutions

not to go into Debt,

eat less chocolate,

don't drink,

get exercise, lose weight,

etc...

 

Well, spending better,

planned expenses,

investments, many

things people do in the new

year, hopefully better than

the last...
