Printing paper costs money, so Print On Demand

for some reason, like Moi to see it better zooming out,
instead of binocular/microscope like levels

on paper how does that translate???
Pagination too, as after Table Of Contents,
maybe a page break, but on Printable Version
or similar, the TOC indentation and

is missing and went flat...
Hyperlink: What Does That Mean On Paper?
A VeryLargePDF might link within and without,
but actual hardcopy maddeningly jumping
here to there, if you can find/compile all
the jumps, references, gotos, links, branches,
etc...
Actually, a rather good job (volunteer)
for a computer, and/or OCD / Aspie/ Autie type???
Find/become that person without going insane,
dead, clinically unstable, more destitute,

Graphical Dependence and Trail Cookie Crumbs
While browsing what is up here,
and how it evolved, from first postings,
to hundreds of Web pages, keep a history
of the trail/path followed
to unwind/return along reverse path,
traversing, plus slices of the data,
ideas, writing, drivel, ranting,
moaning, whining etc...
Mood of the reader may make a diff,
similar to nostalgia control
going in, but with safety lines,
etc, as too painful, disorganized,
not how the reader thinks,
even me later in life, in a diff mood,
after lunch, a nap, dinner, next day,
weeks, months, years, decades, after,
etc...

It Is Rather Brute Force
Pull the text, have to remove the menus,
which may change based on context,
the edit screen is different than
the Printable Version Page, screen...
Differences page, lists all the changes
say to FrontPage from the beginning,
mostly add another page, but some
H1, H2, etc ordering problems,
major revisions, and no comments,
add new section, entry is most of it,
but some track down Table of Contents
restarting a, b, c, d, a, b, a, b, c, etc...
and totalling all the entries per year,
say, or overall...

Export Limitations
Have to run again and again...
If I keep using the same wiki editor
I'm used to, and hosting services,
while transitioning in parallel or
a drop dead date switch over...
Plus say an earthquake hit the server,
and the cloud does not replicate it
over different locations,
or security on the web is down,
more likely can't pay for cable,
internet, and slow speed

than cannot get all of it and some lost...

So with some of the projects menttioned
above, some reasons to learn the language,
and keep in the technical programming world,
as makes my life easier, if I learn it,
and can use it, to do some of this, and
that, besides just my mind going to mush...
Standards of Conduct
Negative reaction to and almost didn't go
because of the behaviourist, and
eliminating instead of community building...

In day treatment, while in a shelter,
commuting have to sleep on a couch,
which is not allowed,
yelled at, and not allowed, therefore bad,
punished, and negative consequences

We had no say in the rules in the first
place, snoring would be distracting to others
trying to participate, so not that way...
Silent meditation,
no CPAC running for breathing help,
lights down, not down, etc...

but I doubt I'm the only one there with some
of those traits, and maybe the "rules"
were set up to help, rather than control,

I mostly kept quiet, off camera,
and a couple of times showed the robots

Hosting
Providing conference on site/ nearby,
instead of travel meant i finally got to one,
after more than a decade
of hobby time, trying to learn...
Cost wise, I could not attend, travel,
time away (say I tried bicycling there instead,
it would take time, risk to body
and personal property
and longer than I'm legally
allowed to be away...)
Registering
A stranger asked for ID to register,
and was done for me,
had an other provided a discount code
to make that happen...
Brought training to the area, which others
may have benefited from, idk...
Anonymity
As opposed to ID required to register,
proves from a government source
that I am who I say I am, and not
an impostor, poser, fake, fraud...
Why That Protects?
Instead of uniforms, guns and badges,
laws to get you later, by then it might be too late,
like leaving after the second day,
and two people probably not seen before
approached trying to get stuff && verbally,
attacked, threatened, and were probably
told to get on the ground, in broad daylight...
Maybe on their way to nearby Jail,
on work release, latr for curfew,
back from conjugal visit,
etc.
Said they were homeless, etc...
Basically aggressively panhandling,
stalking and harassing...
Didn't make me want to go back,
and hotel change of venue for the day,
experience with some
hotel vs. federal guberment, etc

Cowardice?

Or traditional anonymity...
Like Man on the street,
talk to just about anyone,
but also no one, aka NoBody,
not hiding behind the shadows,

but not setting self up for easily

Leaving Change
An amusing presenter sat near me later on
leaving behind some us coins, when asked
he said it was
"Shrapnel for security" or similar,
about half of the presentations were
inside the
security/metal detectors/armed guards
(only went to one, after initial dry run/checkin
added to list of con attendees)
and got lost finding it,
arriving about 5 mins before end
Of a 20? min talk but had seen
previewd at home,
and well documented online,

Basically, all Metal stuff have to
take out of the pockets,
and just not useful,
in the other countries?
Turns out, reading speaker bios

Touring
I mention if I use water,
leave no trace but some change and a card?
at a jacked faucet, in plastic bags,
as might rain before seen and soggy tour link
or business card...
Basically paying for the cost, plus something for the
use of resources that would otherwise
be available, and necessary for survival,
clean water, wildly available or otherwise
spoiling food(s), shade/ cooling/ heating A/C,
electricity to charge devices,
say for safety, looking at weather, routes,
times, storage, communicating progress/location,
journalling, etc...

Changes, how important is that?
Typos, while typing,
may say technically things like

Is the RPi3 too slow to get all the characters,
or just the keyboard it has common errors,
because the keys are spaced apart differently?
One key doesn't work, is stuck, missing,
repeats, etc..
And I remember one way,
from what I'm used to doing,
plus the screen size,
distance to the monitor,
keyboard, etc...
Hunt and peck from a tablet touchscreen,
may not be the fastest baud rate to put stuff up,
and the replace with a dictionary word,
may make it meaningless,
as cannot figure out what
it was that was meant,
instead... (see kvetch previously)

for, not knowing what roles would

one speaker/trainer may have let me in,

There is an ecosystem around the free
software, like publishing, consultants,
cons, value added additons,
that people make money off
of what they know, and at least in
other environments people want your
ideas, and they probably develop
them and take credit...
Plus one guy I hadn't seen for a while,
offered me cash for lunch, but I refused,
as against disability, income, subsidy, etc rules,
and had already gotten con admission
(likely from / thru the foundation).
Not offended, grateful, kind offer,
But could not accept cash for lunch....
I skipped lunch, prompted to eat,
by someone, as might be blood
sugar, but risking eating too much
sugars, sodas, pastry, etc...
What I could find was bagels,
peanut butter, and jelly packages,
soft pretzels with prepared yellow
mustard, soy and other yogurts,
fruits, vegetable with dip,
and many bottled waters,
likely needed with the salted
pretzels and dehydration getting there,
in the heat, plus pacing to stay away
while others were seated most of the time...
My pacing in the back probably bothered
at least one presenter, and noticed
bideo later, about speaker mentioning
something in the talk about interruptions,
doors, noise in the hallway, etc...
Even in the room, during Lightning
Talks, a highlight of the event,
entertaining, informative, and many
times more diverse speakers and
topics, even 30 second type commercials
I did however eat a lot of snacks,
usually waiting for others to have
their fill first...
Discounts/ Free Attendence
Other more regional cons, students,
the unemployed, and therefore disabled
were very discounted, and/or allowed in free.
Military discounts existed, and other
speakers get some plus organizers,
hosts, sponsors (attending, not tabling),
etc...
Media requirements were advance PR
for the event, it seemed, and a resume,
sort of thing, with it dropping back to
paid if they didn't uphold their end of
the write about us contract...
I didn't do much, this writing takes about
as long as the con attended,
about par for the course,
writing up my experience, for
others getting back, or into
software, might help, plus some
ideas, impressions, opinions,
etc...
