Some season change and other insanity,

and that is without basketball...

In Alaska shows they talk of the thaw/

breakup (ice), Spring Break madness,

Shakespearian (sp?) / Greek Caesar's

predicted/ forewarned 

Beware of the Ides Of March, etc

but something about the season,

even in modern times,

and in the Mid Atlantic USA

is still a problem...

 

Post election, inauguration,

and coming off of Valentine's Day,

many are probably getting EPT

(Early Pregnancy Tests)

(doing the math: Fall Holiday (Nov 11) baby

- 9 months gestation = 2 (Feb)),

credit card bills and other blow back

from the holidays, plus IRS Income Taxes,

college acceptance/ denial letters,

school midterms,

Daylight Saving Time Clock Change

this weekend,

Hypo Thermia Season Ending, etc

 

Plus the weather recently went from

~60 degrees making you think the

season has changed, to back to

freezing overnight, randomly on and off...

 

Some more Southern places are starting

to be consistently warm, say Florida,

and Spring Break / Bike Week temptations,

recently learning thru online videos of

an alternative Black Bike Week,

as many (50+ years ago)

were likely segregated and someone(s)

created an alternative...

 

I've tempted fate a few times,

and went bicycling out in shorts

(me: "saves laundry"),

and gotten comments, as if

"it doesn't make spring happen any earlier"

or similar, but if going fast, the wind

doesn't outweigh the warming /

sweating effects of hard exercise,

and many of the people saying that

aren't really that exercise friendly,

afaict, only running only from a

heated building to a parked car,

sitting in the sun and with a heater,

or standing around,

like at bus stops, etc...

Still on Winter electronics learning

and bought a sale WowWee Coder MiP

was clear/translucent, see thru case,

included a rechargeable battery

and another app, it will use the

basic MIP one too, for software

development think Scratch/

graphical programming,

clapping events setting off

burping and farting noises,

plus motion (turns, etc)

lights, etc...

 

It will IR Laser type Western

simulated shootout battle

with the MipoSaur,

(see more later...) but not the

CHiP, afaict... Maybe the MipoSaur

will take the rechargeable from the

Coder MIP?

 

Ride it out?

 

Watching Delos (SVDelos.com)

videos of sailing around the world,

mostly from the missing bikini

click bait, but there is also a story line,

until you reach the excessive

drinking, pot and other issues,

many hours of warmer escapism there,

100+ videos, likely up to 200 by now,

and caught in the middle of the Indian

Ocean, passages, groggy for a couple of

days, some without that experience

may never adjust right, and sea sick

the whole time, squalls coming up,

abandoned itols (sp?), (islands),

natives/ locals, scuba diving near active

volcanoes, on board relationships,

ecology (fishing), charging issues,

(pull behind charging rotor),

maintaining the ship, equipment,

and finances, etc bringing reality

to the deserted island/ survivor

Another Day In Paradise type stuff...

 

Fairly mellow and mystical corporate logo

even on the foresail, starting watching

around India and happened online

across some old WoodStock stills

depicting the 60's revolution(s),

and a Swama opened

Woodstock with like a prayer,

calming and peace loving

the Vietnam War draft era

reactionary/ revolutionary

counter culture...

 

Reading a little about the Sri Swami,

he worked in the family motorcycle

and power company, before setting

out on a spiritual journey eventually

creating an ashram in Virginia,

funded by sale of Carol King's donated

property in Connecticut (?),

integrating many religions,

with many symbols on their logo,

and a community of sorts,

in the 200 - 300 range of people,

making a few classes at

Geshundhiet! Institute,

and other intentional communities,

besides conferences, look small...

 

Not that I want to run away to stuff like

that, but the Delos and techniques

including Video Blogging, documenting,

more mundane like eating, chores,

laundry, fixing stuff, cleaning drains,

and even Sailing, which I did a little

growing up, and in college, first round,

but not ocean, and travel bug,

their website whimsically showing

before and after photos of uptight

male main characters (boat owner brothers),

before Sailing

(Eastern uptight business casual = Concerned),

after Sailing

(tanned, bearded, shorts = Happy? etc)...
