with a few more trips,

and what happens there

really doesn't stay there...

So looking up Lidl2021

more and WikiPedia  has it

as a copy of Aldi's business model,

and slower start here in the USA,

last, actually it seems,

while split in Albrecht brothers

Nord and Sud, both getting a piece

of America, with Trader Joe's

(Joe since passed in 2010?

bought in by one of the brothers

both long since gone, but reclusive

and one was kidnapped, leading to

more reclusiveness perhaps

and an armoured car getting him places

was mentioned)...

 

But locally and closer to current time

bought Cheese at LidlExpress

on AprilFoolsDay2021 while going

to Vaccination shot, turns out

coupon was for the other store,

not across the chain like for some

others, not networked, yet, i guess,

set the store and stuck with it,

for a while, until they merge, or

get more pervasive/invasive,

depending upon how you might look at it

(i.e. competitively)

 

Bought a lot more stuff,

a couple of rain / exercise jackets,

i chose the bright colors, greenish

with more pockets than old Izumi

or Performance, but not where

i'd want them, as waist pockets

for a SmartPhone which transmits

means the signal is closest to my

groin and someone suggested not

having cell that close to the privates,

a chest pocket on some jackets,

like a geeky dress shirt and

an Aldi Jacket, but only smaller

BLUG60ToSLW2020  fits

there, some possibility of hearing

though the microphone,

if turned on and talking,

without BlueTooth

(not finding Aldi Tzumi Tsumi

BlueTooth 5.0

ear buds page, never sectionalized?...)

and my neoprene (Target discount?)

arm band long since ripped out,

so no options there

a messenger bag donated with backpack,

since it's not a regular school backpack

for kids, back to school time, given a lot,

and set aside for later, found again

and started using, thinner than the

good one with a place for the train whistle,

was small cell phone holder, repurposed,

and easy access for riding, but twists

my back when overloaded as usual,

books, electronics, tools, general

stuff for day(s) out, and keep

essentials in there, lights, batteries,

cable(s), etc now generally hand

sanitizing and replacement mask(s),

and more...

 

Bought more work pants

despite color selection limitations

dark? emerald? green

or crap/shit brown,

both work type colors if a gardener,

but not my type of "work"...

and tried a pair

to decide if to get even more,

have cargo pocket on the front,

but small back pocket, my wallet,

stuffed with receipts doesn't fit back there,

and other things i'm still learning,

 

well camping gear came out this week,

on Wednesday, the app shows some of it,

and starting to learn where/when and how to

find the seasonal / sale/ specials stuff

well, at Aldi, which is the original model...

Crivit is one of their sports brands,

bought a $20 trekking poles,

and got home to discover missing

an essential screw/bolt, latch,

and an end cap (noticed that,

thought i could do without,

or find substitutes, somehow)

so on guard a bit,

buying a color i wanted, green,

and hoping to get back and maybe

even buy another, red was the only

other color, red for right

and green for left?

boating red on right returning,

for port and starboard,

but depends on direction,etc

buying double is annoying

dealing with customer service

even more so, trying to find

parts say the local HomeDepot,

and haven't gotten there,

nor bothered tried the one pole,

wearing my steel toed Aldi work boots

the point is a little sharp

tungsten, or some similar metal

(look up and only see the carbon

top of the line, no aluminum

trekking poles even found,

seems to be a trend, can't find

QRCode i'd ignored, for the pdfs

of manuals, before losing them

but want an IAN number

model name, and neither found

them, nor anything else, so far...

 

So 80 F degrees Wednesday

the first day of the new outdoors

camping type sale which is too

warm for me, and down that day,

a busy day with Pest inspection/

nothing required, but really 5 more

hours of laundry, monthly on less

than 24 hours notice again

following AprilFoolsDay2021

vaccination (sp?) and third

~10+ miles walking in a row,

a lot for me, and turn around

again finally completed

i didn't know until after i'd

returned and really more the next

day to hear about it, recovering...

two pairs, boots first pair destroyed

sliding along pavement with a

crash, big scar still visible on my knee

but the cheaper pair, no eyelets

for laces, just loops sewn in,

those gone, not much wearing them

after that, can't really...

worn out the Merrills, Aldi has

hiking boots on sale now,

but only goes up to size 11

according to their advertising/ online

leaving expensive and spotty options

for finding the next pair(s)...

 

Anyways, camping gear at Lidl2021

backpacks, hiking backpacks

had a computer bookbag safety

backpack, for $25 or so, passed

on that, tight funds...

Stim3 finally came in, and other plans

for it, but what the heck, right,

so cheap, might as well,

went over the possibilities/ combinations,

wish list, waiting an hour, walked predawn

doing an errand the other way,

and couple hour(s) out, changing

workboots break in problems ankles

hurt, need at least inserts, take from

winterboots now that it's not winter,

and find more cheap inserts?

over to old hiking Merrills (sp?)

Two backpacks,

different colors, they get wet,

rather cheap at $40 each,

well they have a tent, 4 person,

might as well try that $50

got the last one, and only started

availability the previous day,

i'm on senior hours, and have

to use a bathroom again,

the stop through the park,

found the chemical toilet

risking that charge (park after dark/

really before dawn) seems to beat

defecating on a road with no shoulders,

someone's lawn, hedgerow, etc,

nothing open yet, 5 am not even the

little gas station, HT, etc, and in the

park on the way, didn't need to then,

fairly suddenly needing to go,

but had maybe a block and

walked a while, walking the empty

dark park, with a flashlight

i also picked up when changed

boot(s) and get milk jug, some liquid,

dehydration happens in the cold too,

just from exercising, i learned again the

hard way, not a lot old milk, finish up,

days after sell/use by...

 

And water stuff, folding tub for

doing camp dishes, don't have one

of those, $6-7 or so why not,

and a solar shower, similar price

and a jug for water, 6 gallons?

don't know how to clean those

spent $200 on water filtration stuff,

a while back, never used, camp stuff

saving for big adventures, that never

really happen,

Well still looking for shorts,

people complain about holes

in crotches, stains in that same

seems permenant (sp?) hasn't washed out,

and maybe got them because of that,

donated instead of thrown out...

 

Athletic, turns out see through,

a problem for modesty, will see,

 

Sweats, long maybe night time,

or cold, getting past that, not yet,

trying long work pants,

down to shorts mid day?

upon return, change into what

i find, and had bought dress

shorts, but don't have the right

cargo pockets, etc, not good

for biking, etc, but something

that isn't holes, or stained,

even at $20 each

 

Those just $20 are adding up...

Have to use the bathroom,

Aisle 1 registers now open,

packed what i wanted in the new

backpacks,

a radio with ShortWave, LongWave,

etc, $20, yep adding up,

shoes, only $7-8, something different,

what style/ color? lace? maybe replace

clogs, which wear holes in my feet,

most oddly shaped/ cheap stuff has,

 

Buying everything up there,

and stuff in the backpacks,

The two guys at the registers,

double teamed, Latino?

same problem guy as before?

and seems very young black kid,

very proper/ maybe Muslim?

try to find my app for the QRCode

to scan at the register instead of

entering my phone number,

that applies the coupons/ gets

credit for their rebates right?

but after the fact?

way more than i had thought i would do,

quick look at the receipt,

i know that's wrong,

manager called over for a return,

these guys are stealing from the

store, the receipt is messed up,

any returns aren't going to match,

and other inaccuracies, even if

at the same price,

totally messed up,

but have to go to the bathroom,

lady passing by, the registers

split into two output conveyor belts,

she has to go by,

watch these guys,

they threaten her, a little old

white lady?

something's seriously wrong here,

besides trying to not ring up everything,

while claiming to help,

receipt says customer changed

mind, not overcharged,

when didn't have two tents,

only two backpacks,

 

need to pee, and do that,

had to put on the bathroom floor,

hopefully cleaned recently,

no pegs hooks to hang anything,

locks, and hand Dyson blower?

dryer, no paper towels, like low

flow showers/ etc, not anything

to blow nose in besides toilet

paper and not clean area to

get near the face,

 

outside quickly

and try to get mask off

to breathe,

find chairs/ use two,

next to each other,

repack,

last sleeping bag, may

be missing poles,

and the second backpack

may be missing on the

receipt, somethings off here,

expensive stuff,

difference between them in price,

too, who's teaching who

the kid corrects Whom,

yeah, guy who rung up was

teaching the young black kid,

and doing it wrong,

likely a problem LatinX

again, the last triple team

against me, nasty woman

i had neatly folded,

saying people hide stuff

inside them, what we are told to do,

and she was the one who

said he's not coming in early,

so i'd have to wait another hour

when i have CDC priority,

hence how i got the Vaccination

already, and probably have the

CDC card to prove it,

if didn't take out,

for safe keeping,

i know i photographed it,

as suggested/ told to while

in the waiting/ convelsence (sp?)

area after...

 

Anyways, pack,

never found ground cloth/tarp

and water goes through it,

so no base mat,

looked at yoga block for a head

rest, and other things, quickly

as had to use the bathroom

now just want to get away

from these people, something's

wrong, messed up...

The idea of two people both

doing it badly and the teacher

doing it wrong, all amiss

with CashRegisterHonesty,

millenials (sp?) and an entrapment

type problem, they distrust/ dislike

discriminate against old white people

and almost all the customers i saw

were, while the staff and management

are all not that, People of Color

of one shade(s) or another,

 

So $10 difference, problems with

the Trekking poles and likely missing

tent poles, missed international

hiking day Wednesday, as

didn't have poles, couldn't use both,

and washed out/ tired,

warm, etc, calling to their attention

problems with how they are doing

things, theft, actually against

the store they work for,

and manager is too busy/ doesn't

care or something, just gave the

card to do the return,

returns don't take pins,

they cancelled when i put in the pin,

a negative sale, and pins not needed

don't put in, so am i even getting the

credit for the second tent i didn't even

buy but they rung up as customer

didn't want?

when later discover the second

backpack isn't on there,

and the $10 difference in Tent to

BackPack price(s?)

 

Thermarest (tm elsewhere)/

self inflating mattress pad,

what makes sleeping on the ground

much more comfortable, big

and have to lash that on,

not know where the pockets,

there's a rain cover down on the bottom

compartment, stuffed clothes in there,

and the shoes, no bags bought,

kind of the big bag is the backpack

to go get food, etc long distance,

and carry back, but not very bright,

not as much has a safety vest,

the rain one may be more,

and tied downs, loops, other

nice features/ if/ when i try to find

how and when they are used,

no big external frame like

but internal structure to it,

flexible, and straps on shoulder

lift up to that semi rigid

and padding, circulation air,

gets behind and mesh like straps

backing, so will see,

just getting it all home two backpacks

the Field and Stream bag i came in with,

bread , banana(s) banana case (Aldi)

bend and width difference, besides

baked banana problems, possibly better

than smooshed (sp?) in bag mess,

and other stuff,

no food bought, had the cheese to go

get, coupon, but at $250-290 with a

little cash back was only thinking

$100ish, other things to do...

 

get my tired arse home,

another 10 mile day,

and been up all night,

don't have the energy to deal

with internal problems of

dishonest staff,

but likely problems

going back , can't return stuff

on receipts that weren't right in the

first place, etc...
