Conclusion
Summary of experience or similar
I'm still kinda processing the book,
having read it in a day,
not having an Index
and can't easily go back to find parts,
except the chapter and Verse like
references that I might normally
do with detail oriented things,
and be like the Critic,
which might kill it,
but might help with the M&M too,
will see...
So, why spend so much energy on something
that i may not like, found disturbing,
don't want left uncommented upon,
etc descripters (sp? o?),
which might be better written...

Found a couple of typos,
which for a non self published book
by a big publishing house
with coauthor
of a journalist
is annoying, but I'll mention two ages
and see if you can find them,
Well, might have needed to write in the library
book, to find them myself, later,

Like a lot of things, users in particular,
drug dealing and violence, not a lot of
remorse for those he may have hurt,
his mother, for example, taking her life savings
which she gave freely, mentioning his kid(s)
some day, but nothing about paying her back
for helping get into the CIA (Culinary Institute
of America) the staring tuition part,
$4k, iirc,
his father for writing about the physical and emotional abuse,
received, though not a lot of amends likely needed on that,
if/when he becomes a father and stressed,
etc starts lashing out like some of the head chefs
at the expensive places he ExTerned,
and started out then did a KitchenConfidential
er tell all book about including the negatives
obscene amounts of money,
then charging more in WarShingTon
DC with his OverPriced
when determined he/they had to
sell tickets for the opening, and reservations
non ReFundAble
kinda like the Tour Cooking he did
and other risks,
DrivingWhileBlack,
getting even with that MuniciPal Cop,
his boyhood friend's house,
and Irish PoliceMan dad,
comparing out, and in,
with a Non Fran's $Beef
recipe, all the Jerk and spicy stuff,
included in his version,
and many other slights
some book nerd, and food geek,
getting his start on a boat
cleaning up the Oil Spill
DeepWater Horizon,
BP paying for it,
flying around anywhere (World/USA Only?)
on 3 weeks off 1 week, iirc
RedNeck/CoonAsses
some can't read,
and the chef/ cook he replaced,
underCut/ eliminated without a coming
back contract, how it life is affected
and if done to his GrandFather/ relatives
how much race might take into account that,
the clients from Catering he might have harmed,
double booked, left for his friend to operationalize
and take over while being ExecChef like
and elsewhere including PerSe,
$TVCookingShow UnderStudy
and writing up the abuse int he kitchen,
which is probably good for others,

opening the African American Museum
and Culture, gigs he wasn't
qualified, the CandyKing of the SubWays
he crossed, maybe a victim like his friend
in the acknowledgements?

helping his $FatherLess kid,
paying back the $1k by say a scholarship
fund, instead of eating for free WhereEver he was,

and the later and after the book deal,
(unmentioned how he wrangled that)
and other stuff swept under the rug,
to look good, feed his own ego,
and tell all, not just the good sales talk
self promotion and likely some arrogance,
hubris, thinking he's Obama and the first Black Chef
though likely younger than some, not facing
some other things like the down side,
all the good stuff, leaving out DrugDealing
in the RagsToRiches, to Failure to TrumpWon,
ClintonTheSecondDidn't
and other downturns,
it's a mystery how it ends,
doing a memoir at 30
and assuming you don't make it to the life
expectancy of the AverageWhiteBand,
instead HoodStats
and lost a friend,
PayBacksABitch
only arrested once mentioned
driving the car his dad gave him with the
$200 and not talked to again, seen
but written up, many times, and what he gets
doesn't get from his ArchiTect Dad,
who suggests DrugDealing to fund his
CIA Education/Tuition and missing the reasons
why it's not good, besides the obvious,
GangBanging, and maybe how WorldWide?HipHip
website gets even for people
brutality and violence as the defining
way to get money in college,
get kicked out of college (on tape, no?)
and really f up your life,
then decide Cooking is Love
feeds not kills the soul
and do that instead
leaving $2k/week (or whatever SelfProMotion)
in illegal activities
by the wayside, nobody helped him but his mom?
his (half?) sister, brother in law? and young child
saying with, after so many sibling fights,
but paying rent, and
his GirlFriend/ turned Wife?
Mya? who doesn't let him stay on the couch,
go get work, or get out kind of motivation(s)
similar to his mother's get work or get out,
ultimatum, and other feast and/or famine
type industries of catering, FoodBiz$$$$$,
etc...
