Hey:
Here is a little something for consideration on the budget,
from the Friday's Ombuds committee meeting discussion.
Part of the goals were to not ask for too much
of the $750k, so that they would not reject
it as greedy, but enough to get something
meaningful done, though I worry about what
can reasonably be done for all the region's
people with only one person at what might
be the amount once taking other costs into
account. Also, since the other RRWG
ombuds budgeted money, which is not allocated,
in some alternate universe could come through
in these tight budget times, we assumed it was a
first time new grant.
I didn't have Russell's sharing space with Pathways
rent numbers, nor a good reference on format, as the
DGS site vendor manual seemed to be for
goods and services, and explictly NOT consulting,
much less MH peer consumer operated services,
and we are not on the state approved vendors list.
(Anyone wishing to buy a state contracting
agent, say at the Institute or Pathways,
an off duty lunch, might learn much more
about the process?).
