Introduction/Definition/etc

An autobiography/ memoir by Oliver Sacks, of the Awakenings movie,

and Mistook His Wife for a Hat book (good, btw), fame, a neurologist,

this one is mostly his whole career, but I got only so far, and stopped with

reading it, for now...

Body

A few pages in, he basically says he's gay, which I don't really care,

just after reading

JustLikeSomoneWithoutMentalIllnessOnlyMoreSoByMarkVonnegutMD

not so long ago, the writing is more like work to read, interesting,

but requires more effort than I currently have energy for,

even given more weeks of extended library check out time,

and I haven't plowed through more of it, so this is maybe a place holder,

to pickup and read it again, later in my life, Sacks sadly passed away,

so no more new books from him, besides what he has already written,

and finish out of the queue, but I feel bad not finishing what I had started,

and not having done Medical School, feeling down about it anyways...

Like I have not Lived, if not an M.D., etc...

Find some good ones for here, as might be better reviews, by people

who have actually read it, and some things to consider...

Video documentaries, easier to watch  than read?

Conclusion

Summary of experience or similar

Probably a good book, just not in the mood to actually read it..

His movies were good, but I thought Robin Williams playing

Patch Adams would have been different, maybe Hollywood does

something to make stories more interesting than real life...

Book/ written media, having Dyslexia, therefore slow reading,

might have something to do with not enjoying reading as much

as your average book worm...

The motorcycle stuff, I thought might pull me through, but

he has a fairly serious accident, (many people do...)

Discussion

A place for feedback on the page presented

What biographies do you like?

Is it the life you wish you had?

Training for how to be more like them?

When does it turn to Idolatry, Hero worship,

and something bad?
