Started yesterday,

i heard about it after it has(/had) started

and didn't work out the time zone

differences (-5?)

about a day into it,

only seeing some YouTube sessions

this AM, Afternoon there,

going until 12/11

so date range 9-11

(may mean something else

in the USA)

 

Zoom and

saw a YouTube recording/Live

and went on that first,

then wanted to talk back to the

TV/ computer

but only

 

caught the end of the first

an M.D. graduate? of the

Blavatnik Graduate school

(ironically / paradoxically calming)

thinking it might be able to get back

to it, but about an hour each

(say 30 min talk, 20 mins Q&A

+ overhead before intro and ending),

might not, like

My first try during prep I typed

something about the conversation

going on amongst (sp?) presenter and chair

finding a wheel chaired person

at a disability con,

flags on the handle

(i think he said it's a power chair

most manual ones i'm used to have

a set of poles ziptying

(plastic ratcheting

connectors like cable ties) to those,

and recumbent bicycles kind of

have flags to be seen higher

by cars and others,

but his power chair shown

at the last presentation in the

background, he'd "transferred"

to a desk/computer, is more a

automobile sports molded chair,

i guess for long sitting as a prof,

and on computer/ typing

working on books, etc

so no real places to attach,

them, though free attendance,

no real voice, afaict,

 

Boundaries:

 what i might translate

as is a loaded term for

Cost might not be monetary,

risk/ outing yourself,

standing up for the disabled

From a fairly high end

Philosophy, this one presenter's

story he knows

nothing of the mechanical

workings his disability van

rather philosophical and mechanical,

even on two wheels, and long time

ago, different types of philosophy,

my only Philosophy course was

Religion, a month intensive

winter session, Kierkegaard (sp?)

and Nietzsche

known for God is Dead,

(attributed with Nazi

UberMensch / SuperMan

but insiders know it was his sister's

doing, iirc, and how it was used,

not really what he was doing,

religion, Nihilism as pining

for a woman, while

likely tertiary syphillus (sp?)

and falling into madness,

it seems, the type of non believer
