Eating a box of Aldi/Benton

Maple Leaf Cream Cookies

14 cookies in the box

cellophane tray inside the box

while last weekend, i had

bought a box,

and gave away some cookies

thinking it was too many,

too sweet, and had just

eaten finished a double

StrawBerry CheeseCake

(originally frozen and cooled

and perhaps more healthy?

complete? diverse? ingredients

than say a LemonAde jug,

which also had, a variety of,

for liquid...

 

Some things are only available in certain

sizes, a larger size and save money,

a large Siggi's? IceLandic Yogurt

container discounted for $3.14 or so,

and started on that, with another

double StrawBerry CheeseCake

and put that down, kind of boring plain,

not sweetened much, non fat milk

cultures, and large/ quart size?

but the hassles of weighing and

measuring, easier to eat the

whole thing, but looking at

Servings

and Serving Sizes

and Calories, sodium, fat,

etc see where it adds up

quickly,

Say 110 calories / (per) 

maple leave cream cookie

and 7 cookies in  a row,

2 rows / box

doesn't sound like that much

smaller numbers broken down

but together 14*110 = 1400+ calories

in a 2000 calorie daily diet,

for an average sized adult,

a lot for just sugar,

some wheat,

turns out a little soy,

 

Sugar content, most of the things

i'd bought, LemonAde, Cookies,

mostly sugar, not a lot of electrolytes

salt/ etc what might be in a Gatorade

while i'm not a fan, likely claim

good for exercising...

Ironically Florida Gators (football team,

college or pro, idk) and created

a drink, kinda orangy, Tang

 like? but salty? potassium/ sodium/

etc...

would have to look at them...

 

And a Double CheeseCake for $2

frozen, cooling off and good for somethings,

cheesecake, usually a dessert,

but have bought an 8oz? brick of

Swiss Cheese, Colby, etc...

and end up eating that, not

a full meal, but looking at

Salt content, Sodium

(Potassium is also a salt)

Bananas supposedly rich in them,

and maybe why a biker food,

besides the monkeying around

mechanics, wrenching and all,

leaving peels around,

easy to eat, pasty fruit,

etc...

 

fat content for Cheeses,

think eating a whole pizza,

mozzarella (sp?) cheese

a low fat cheese, some have

string cheese in smaller portions,

and end up eating a lot of those

kids size and individual is

a lot of plastic, too,

noticed in

and others things kids

get rid of / donate/ support the arts/

whatever reason(s), don't want

to enter the data themselves,

get the local big poor guy to do it,

only costs them a sampling of

what they eat, and presto

chango, someone does labor

for them, but kinda defeats the

purpose of learning about food,

data, science, etc... Plus may

be cheating, as may be missing

 a lot of what I've entered in

and part of the idea was a process

where others can learn and do

the same with their food(s),

given at school, chosen by

parents who may be obese,

overweight, anorexic,

overeaters, etc

 

And a daily sort of thing,

most people eat at least once

 a day ,fasting excluded,

and that is waiting until after

sundown for some,

others sailors have a SunDowners

which is likely drinking their meal(s)

with alcohol, but the tradition

could be just watching the sunset,

sunrise, and living by the earth's clock

saving candles, originally,

battery power, diesel fuel, shore power,

etc later...

 

Interesting light at SunRise and SunSet,

some of the best light shows in the world

available for free, 2x / day/ most days,

ahead of time, may make sense

even if i'm not good at it,

used to make and freeze sandwiches

for lunch to take to school,

big loaf, prep ahead, and freeze

results, frozen sandwich

even with meat/ cheese/ jelly/jam

etc may hold it together

better, and/or for some required,

and a frozen liquid/ juice/ milk

v. buying lunch,

packing to go camping, biking,

commuting, etc...

 

Time Limits
