Recovery Funding Info Session Personal Audio
During the 4/19 info session it was mentioned that the Panel was audio recording the info session and others could too. In the interest of fairness, technical curiosity and other issues, here is the raw audio Jerry recorded with a personal device. Unfortunately with other demands (so many hats, roles, events, demands, threats like 'we eliminate conflicts', deadlines, etc), I don't have time to process it properly. See the http://pathwayhomes.org/QuestionsAnswers.pdf (or your email .doc file if on the info session signin sheet) for an official reply to most of the questions. Having just skimmed the official stuff, it's hard to tell how the question asked relates to the offical response, but providers tend to hear different things than consumers as it's filtered/ observed/ interpreted/ processed/ etc. It couldn't be easy to try running that session, but consumers have supposedly 'volunteered hundreds of hours to the workgroup' (at least in Jerry's case heard as the BigLie, read burned out, unrecognized and yet unpaid after over a years RRWG meetings, before paid providers stepped in at the end) so here is the source data and you be the judge...

20070425PanelInfoSession.mp3
(same LARGE file, just renamed)
1 hour 20 mins (late start of 2 hour question and answer info session) 37 MB in mono mp3 format
(pretty much requires high speed or a lot of patience)
The same day that the Recovery Funds question and answer responses were released (see Pathwayhomes.org/Recovery.html and http://pathwayhomes.org/QuestionsAnswers.pdf plus info session audio above) and impending grant application deadline of next week as the Arlington County HousingFirst event above.
There are probably better ways to report all that is going on now, but that would require time, participation, money and energy which are all lacking in this writer at the moment...
