I'm not sure I've done much

with Recovery month,

it has some Substance Abuse,

Mental Health, but such a provider

focus like our role is to get them funding,

a theme you might see throughout this

and the provider bias was getting

sickening...

 

Live on YouTube,

perhaps like the much

bigger Jimmy Buffett concerts,

was a text chat window over the

screen, similar to Chat on Zoom,

for me it was more of a shunning,

i asked a couple questions,

others just said hi to each other,

some of them presenters,

the questions were typical of me:

is this chat recording?

i.e. is my camera trying to go on?

I wouldn't think so, but different

software(s) do different things,

Conferencing it's not?

Zoom it's a All to All,

Jitsi is more egalitarian,

at least in what i've tried a room

set up, and first one on has the

same privileges (sp?) as anyone,

instead of login to host on Zoom,

and Hierarchy which is a lot like

Slavery to me...

 

And question 2:

is there a transcript of the

presenters?

also not answered

nor acknowledged

money grab, imnsho...

next, so I'm not going to be

too critical of the individuals,

they are likely trapped in

consumer based system

which isn't very Peer Based,

much less Survivor camp sort

of stuff...  Some seemed happy

with there services, hence

labeling Consumer, Survivor

is likely more unhappy,

and ExPatient even more so,

might not have killed us,

but not going back to it, ever...

DearBedBugs2013 is one

such example of why not...

 

So why  be a poster child

for Provider Funding?

Is that the end of care type

graduation type stuff?

Pay off the paid providers

for the help, pretend gratitude?

Or some sort of get out of jail,

see how we've changed type

thing, not sure, but likely

missed the point, imnsho...

 

Recovery is NonLinear,

and using some of SAMHSA's

and other consumer movement

stuff, but given Provider and

even consumer behaviors,

it's a wonder the BuzzWord

hasn't worn out, i certainly

don't feel welcome after all

the infighting, backstabbing,

etc over such scarce resources,

some got, some didn't,

despite advocating for it,

and we got it, just We isn't

everyone, just some,

the Pro$umers for lack

of a better term...

Think Crackers/ Concentration

camp people, imnsho...

 

Some things aren't clear,

but a quick check might

figure it out,
