Investment strategies,

are failing rather badly

imnsho

all happened after my mother's death,

while concerned, and ran through most

of what my father left me,

an accounting of how/ what/ where/ when etc

might  be illuminating,

and planning purposes from my mother's

general life planning,

like how long does one live?

so how much to save up?

 

Noticing form the outside of investing,

many blue chip stocks are predatory,

far from green and humanitarian based,

exploitive (sp?),

profits and caring are opposites?

 

 

If you consider it like a black bank back in the day,

guide books existed on where one could stop in

the rural south, black friendly,

and similarly disabled friendly,

would take a trust check, known,

but mostly regionally, but traveling,

much less internationally, how / where to get

support/ purchasing supplies including food, fuel,

and other needs,

medical: emergency?, therapy,

spending advice/ the AAA of disabled, sort of,

AARP for the poor without the med /pharm parasites?

lobbying but where is a safe place/ safe harbours

sort of approach...

 

If in Miami, for example, say where

would one go that doesn't break the bank,

is safe, has what one needs,

caring people, but not religious/ predatory,

and information, signtseeing (sp? site?),

experiential, etc

my mother had suggested looking up my grandfather's

grave? as he did, x,y,z

but wasn't followed up on,

tired and lost, barely getting through as it was,

adding tasks/ planning wasn't possible at that

point, one of my regrets?

 

anyways some Bucket List items,

planning travel while one can get around,

have the physical strength/ endurance

stamina, interests, etc

 

My mother had traveled to Europe

a few times before

back and other medical issues

plus general aging

realizing things happen,

years of delays with

and senior center outings

are what people think old(er) people do,

play mahjongg,

go to shows/ opera

etc...

Some may , but likely others have other

ideas of what is good/ fun/ entertainment/

enjoyment, when/if can feel that emotion(s)

Some might think grand children

little relatives, but later in life,

not so much, related kids have their

own interest(s) and activities,

likely not coinciding with old farts

ironically my grandmother had wanted

to go to Florida, but i was too busy,

and after she passed wished i had made

the time to  listen more and travel with her...

What accommodations/ changes, differences

and perhaps something completely different

is necessary, desirable, possible, probable,

etc with various abilities, preferences and interests...
