First I'll have to admit,

I haven't seen/heard it,

just from news titles/ headlines

on gNews about it:

 

DJT wouldn't shake Pelosi's hand,

a Snub, at least,

not protecting him/herself from CoronaVirus?

(ContraVirus might be the future marketing name of

something that stops some of that stuff?)

 

and Pelosi tears up his speach paper,

perhaps as response...

No substance, afaict,

posturing,

ratings, etc?

I was out in/ crossing the National Mall area

and back tired, so like the SouperBowl,

and likely Grammies, plus Oscars

I can have a Tabla Rosa approach to it,

as feeling like it's another world,

not the college HillMan Class of SomeThing

a spin off of Cosby Show?

but Robert Heinlein Stranger in a Strange Land,

iirc, more Sci Fi

MetaMorphosis,

Big Giant Head Turns into CockRoach/

Pig/ Dictator/ Fool,

and not even a very funny one either...

 

Crossing the security stuff,

got around Pennsylvania Avenue

had done the bike lanes on the way over,

police on about every intersection,

blocking for motorcades all over the place,

but not there, yet,

missing lights, but had reflectors,

carrying a cheap battery set

but street lights in town,

the virginia side trail,

and a Tiger mom probably reporting me,

while behind me at a library,

sniping about stuff,

while in a rather priviledged advantage

not that diff than the rest of the evening

people left out of Government,

GuberMent, not of and for the people,

typically democratic, but more against

the will of the majority of the people,

For the Corporations, Greed, Corruption,

Abuse, Exploitation, etc...

 

Bashed my knee coming around a corner,

up to a narrow ramp in the dark,

done that turn many times in the daylight,

not much at night, and not taking a short cut,

too risky, though might have been better than

a broken knee cap (hopefully not)

hit the left one, which meant came /

cut it too close, leaning in for turn,

like moto but not with race gear

knee pads sliding, etc...

 

Saw a red fox on the way back,

odd place, and others saw too,

we looked at each other,

after the knee thing it was goign

to be able to get me,

but even with bunny ears on,

(wearing, but not lit)

adversarial,

before the

 

skinny, so looking for food,

rabbits it's natural menu,

perhaps subsisting on rats

so close to the river,

and getting water from the

9/11 memorial fountain/streams...

also highly likely near the ramps

and high speed traffic, going to get

killed that way...

 

Scavenging on tourists trash left out,

though technically on SuperBase

would think things were more secure...

 

Attacked at a grocery store,

one of many recently, people high

and up for SouperBowl

and some unresolved,

likely risky, and retaliatory,

as caught for some

but likely guilty of much much more

Well, i can have an opinion,

even if it's not backed up by much,

some might call that faith,

religion and other stuff

(which isn't generally me

as non religious),

but if Rush Limbaugh can win something

for what he does/ doesn't do

then how is he not FakeNews?

 

The environment and going to do a bike

part purchase, used it turns out,

and risky, seemed like a drug deal,

and not good, so had backup plans,

safety protocols, others knew what and

where, when and how, etc

 

Riding at night, risky, need to do something

about powerful headlight, stop and put on the

cheap stuff, and while planning was good

for some parts, others needed work,

turns out security is can't use the road(s)

but sidewalk is OK, which is odd in the

normally pedestrian/ CBD can't ride on the

side walk, but more mall and wide,

so ok there, directed elsewhere,

and people out, still before the speach,

but singing, protesting, some other stuff,

maybe waiting to show disapproval

to motorcades, while left on the street...

 

And the icing on the cake

was seeing the Red Fox,

a predator near the Pentagon,

in it's natural environment,

at night, acting sneaky

you (anyone) seem to think

dog, too big to be a cat,

more cat like moves then

think of what else is like that,

and worried about rabies,

wasn't foaming at the mouth

but not getting too close,

looked back, but had things

to avoid going forward too,

others were around, a bus

i think stopped, letting it pass,

i was more vulnerable,

and then pedestrians further up the

hill by the cemetary, they likely

military returning to base,

leaving work after,

having exercised, out of uniform,

going to the OClub, etc...

 

Tour de Clearance Isles continued,

not much found, and felt quickly sick,

like sprayed with something,

the predatory people were around,

perhaps relatives of union staff,

some hassling / arguing over a disabled

motorized cart,

i ended up skipping three othere things

that night, just to get soemthign that probably

isn't right, but might learn more about,

caliper brakes, as rear wheel for the

Gary Fisher mountain bike

and make it with caliper

and rim brakes, my first other caliper(s)

set for $40 cash had to wait and go

get, so instead of new, have a a backup

front, a new to me back,

but mounting hardware, pad sourcing,

and compatibility is still an issue,

compatibility book(s), also want/ need,

and trying to get some cheap,

a database exists, but doesn't need to be

that current, shipping, wait to next month's

money, bills not yet out, and other commitments,

dreadfully looming, on top of the other crap

etc
