Already assembled,
unlike MeccanoMeccasaur2017
which i never did finish
MicroNoid exist which are assembled?
or just small kits, don't remember much
but about the same price
discounted as this ended up being
$80 list, bought when seen on clearance
for ~$40, which likely causes problems,
financially and interpersonally (sp?),
but got to survive August, season change,
other stressors, etc...
Display like a periscope? out the top of the
box in clear plastic, it's smaller than i would
assume/ have liked...
Includes a small L\Po (Lithium Polymer) battery,
LR44?? coin batteries for the remote
which tend to be hard to find and expensive
but the remote is small too,
smaller hands,
and like a Drone as forward one joystick
left and right, another,
which is configurable likely on some good (higher end)
Drone remotes, but built in (badly?) here...
The LiPi might be like the small drone ones,
but not removeable (sp?),
at least not easily, and voids warranty,
(only for "safe" disposal?)
so annoying there, as could have multiple
and play for longer, but with kids,
and others, built in breaks might be good too...

(powered with IR sensors helping find it) at all,
just a ping pong ball size,
and mine was actually dirty out of the box
making wonder if had been opened,
and/or manufacturing quality control
lacking somehow...
Cards supposedly program, bar code like
but not enough detail, maybe selecting only,
activating, and the app, free download,
but legalese is may be discontinued at any tmie,
making your toy a more useless paperweight?
It does do some hand signals,
so can be used, a little, without an app,
as not all around 6 year old can/ should/would
be trusted with a smartphone/ tablet,
Apple iPhone and Android,
which makes me wonder if i can do something
with an Arduino/ RPiZero,2,3-4?
ad use those instead,
compatible devices aren't specific enough
only major name brands, my
TCLLXA502DL2018 seems to do what it needs,
and it's prepaid...
Unlocking cards is annoying,
as they have levels, and multple play try
each one, only noticing which noises it makes
and no volume control at all, even with the app,
volume on the smart phone / device all the way up too,
but don't seem to hear it, which is odd,
BlueTooth and Location not used, afaict,
which was surprising, some GPDR, privacy?
standards noted
but not even defined acronyms,
anywhere: paper instructions,
app, nothing, so some learning there to do...)
and need to power on
(flip a switch underneath/underbelly),
press a button (on back)
to load a card from the app, (& presumably cards too)
I've not yet tried with the paper cards
(say in help/troubleshooting you can get from online
and print, but I 'don't print, ink cartridge$, etc...)

Wheels are rather flimsy, imnsho,
and worried about breaking them,
no extras exist, and i haven't seen parts availale,
if i got really attached and had an extra $40
i'd probably buy another and use as spare parts
note the wheels have some rubber band like
things, so not as likely to slip,
i played/ tried on low carpet, and it did ok,
but note it's an indoor robot,
which is annoying as most others
(WowWee's TriBot, CHiP, MiPoSaur,
MiP, TurBoDave, helicopter like droneish
Battle / FlyTech_?
etc)
i've taken outside,
InfraRed is an issue,
as would be any other surface
like pavement, curbs, even
small cracks, seals etc...
I don't see how it would get around/over...
So currently around level 6
unlocked maybe over half of the games/
cards from the app, just to try
and see what i like,
i guess it might keep it interesting,
less overwhelming but starts getting into
NannyState type stuff, at least for me,
deciding how i use it best,
and down a yellow brick road,
type of one path works for all,
similar to games where alcohol,
killing, buying stuff, etc
are required to play and/or win/succeed/
live, virtually, maybe even physically,
if addicted, some other factors,
etc...
Charging time is said io be an hour,
for an hour of play,
but they do not specify how many
MilliAmps
the USB (small smartphone like)
cable allows, so higher 2.4 Amp?
500 is the lower standard original USB
but most smartphones,RPi etc take
several times that, and it does say
only for power, i guess you cannot
flash another firmware on it,
then it might be more useful/
hackable, and age range up,
to more teen, imnsho)

No Bot Speaker Control,
/Bold /Flash /Alarm, etc
have to blast the smart phone volume
to use the app
so like now can't try it without
annoying neighbors, getting a noise complaint,
silent stealth mode may help
but likely get stepped on
and destroyed too,'
