sickness, and bewildering / confounding
issues...
Assuming i can stay on topic,
some might say/write (drivel)...

So trying to process the holiday,
not that i celebrate it,
as religious, and i'm not,
thanks be to Dog,
but dog, like one(s)
i've met/encountered recently,
aren't all that friendly,
imnsho...
Perhaps most troublesome
was a boxer like mix?
with a woman at a trail
T Intersection, in North Arlington...
She was walking the dog,
afaict, but also blocking
the dog got defensive?
coming close and i mentioned
they don't really do Social Distancing,
a bigger dog, and didn't bark,
she seemed to think (he?)
liked me, but having had an
encounter/ interaction earlier,
startled by some dog speeding/
chasing, charging? a brown
dog in the leaves, going like a bat
out of hell, no ball was thrown,
afaict, but coming right at me
at high speed, i had my head down
watching where i was walking,
and others, handlers/owner(s) with
their animals and a dog park, but
walking in leaves, ravine like area,
have to be careful where i step
dog poop is only part of it,
tree branches, rocks, tripping
hazards, etc...
Bullying like dogs trying to get
kids lunches, might be a
rewarded activity and amuses
dog owners/ handlers,
but aggressive and likely illegal
too...

i had mentioned similar
to the woman,
on the second encounter,
and I was wearing
dog friendly type stuff,
the backpack,
while oddly pink has dog ears,
might be bulldog, smaller than
but substitute bunny ears,
i consider it, other bags have
worn out, get wet, etc...
I say i smell, had cooked turkey
and ate it and nothing to give
to the dog, but he/she aren't
convinced...
And stops again, getting in the
way, move along, quick road/
trial blocking with a threatening
animal to your enjoyment...
The dog, seemed to be used
like a weapon, given weapons
of the metal projectile type aren't
allowed in Arlington Parks,
but the W&OD, Custis, etc laws
may be different, and leash
laws how we left it,
seems to be subject to interpretation,
lunging and blocking a public
accessway can be considered
assault, like blocking someone's
way, intentionally, maliciously,
with a threat of being bitten,
rabies shots, even a
you must adopt this dog
type thing, typical of
KillShelterInParadise2020
type mentality, we are great
and kind, but kill so many
animals, mostly mutts, because
they aren't purebred,
they are all troubled,
what are the stats on that?
How many are put down
of those "rescued" at a kill
shelter? Is that Animal Control?
No kill shelters would likely
be best, but what to do with
all the animals? Dressing them
up like Thanksgiving.mp4
and try to adopt them?
Exploitive (sp?), and mostly white
hands, instead of paws,
makes me wonder,
and on to more directly
related, but a bad taste
in my mouth / sort of,
bad feelings? Not REALLY
an FWord person, but
what some might call it
if they were less Spock
like...
Anyways, i generally turn
Veganish (a little like BlackIsh)
on holidays like this, mass extinction
of Turkeys, for the supposedly greater
good, see how wonderful we are,
kill (hundreds of) millions of birds,
the defining meal of the holiday
because American Indians /
Native/ First Persons/Cultures/Tribes
were here and helped us/ pilgrims
fleeing religious persecution,
perhaps, had to be Catholic,
or Church of England,
without separation
of church and State...
Irish Potato Famine
and diaspra (sp?) , seemingly
forced and many interpret as
Genocide, ethnic/ religious cleansing
especially if Irish, Catholic,
which i'm neither, but close to one,
geographically in heritage/
ancestry... (Welsh, nope never
been, and don't bet me)
Some TV, given up Cable,
the bill got high, and i don't
like their capping internet
traffic, the customer service
got criminal, and other issues,
privacy, etc...
had run a
PBS4? like telethon/ donations
with a Speaking from the Stage
or similar titled program
themed public speaking/
Story/ Narrative/ Spoken Word,
StoryTelling, which is trendy
and from New England,
around Harvard, etc,
some Southie woman
talking of her father
starting a bowling alley
and some car stuff downstairs,
well the cafe part of the alley
turned into a poker den,
and he ended up betting the
Bowling Alley, losing that,
bet the House to try to get
it back, and LOST both,
to some mob type people
looking to do harm.
They became homeless
and saw her father leave
saying be a good girl,
unwelcome where they
were, distant relatives,
crowded, etc...
He goes to Vegas,
after some soul searching,
though in the desert looking
at the stars, and cleans
up a little, helps someone
win in Vegas, and gets
a percentage, of that,
gets the family back together,
happy ending...
Not all are so happy though,
a boy meets his girl friend's
father, rough hands,
decides to give his pet
rabbit to the man with hutches
and is served his pet rabbit
at the thanksgiving meal,
and Tells Off the host,
getting up and leaving,
the likely disgusted daughter/
now ex-girlfriend likely stays,
though unhappy about something,
not enough to leave Dear old
Bunny Killing Dad...
And a woman cooking her first
Bird, with an overbearing mother,
may she experience what its
like to live independently and have
her own place, etc...
Well carving the bird,
after a build up,
red bloody, undercooked
meal ruined,
but the mother has another
bird cooked on hand,
and meal saved, see
mom's cooking is best...

It's a big meal and responsibility,
i guess, mine was all solo,
and after the fact,
felt sick on the first two trays
had the turkey breast thawing
further and not sure why
got sick, undercooked
green beans? not likely,
they don't need to be cooked
beans of themselves and
not sure what all was in it,
exposure to pesticides, after

baiting, also sick, of the run to
the bathroom variety,
and he was supposedly just
in my lower cabinets and
dishwasher door,
but started messing around,
he has to do what i say,
some trash left on the floor,
i have to pick it up,
might want to wash up,
he has to do x,y,z
trying to dominate residents,
from a service provider
twice removed,
with the same maintenance
man, so sick both times
he was around,
while standing up that i get
the meal, the (new?) office
guy thought something else,
something is likely doing on
about that, wasn't kept in a fridge,
left out thawing, and then temp
not getting high enough on
stuffing, is the broth uncooked?
Canned beans wouldn't need
cooking, as the canning takes
care of most of it, but leaving
out a couple hours, skipping the
big line in the beginning,

and aSocial, causes other problems
likely...
Well try again with same food(s)
heat again, higher/ a second
heating, and maybe that helped?
Stress, older chicken processing
cooking, meat type contamination
and other risks, poisoning being
one of them, and didn't get as
sick/ that way the next time,
so process of elimination,
can't say it wasn't the food,
as the second heating
may have killed somethings,
other changes over time...
Still Being Harassed
But still being harassed,
phone rings at 0500am
once, when i'm really down,
not enough rings to trace?
Voices overheards, but
also down so not really heard,
and other issues, first frost,
illegal entry, broken safety
and security stuff, etc...
Skipped Black Friday
over commercial,
PS5 or whatever doesn't interest
me, crowds and lines bad
enough...
Cooked Turkey (Field Dressed?) breast
in the skillet,
but once that was done
induction, had a dirty skillet
though fuller stomach,
scraping that with my finger
nail got a shard of that
under my nail, painful,
steel wool but metal stuff
and the need to oven clean
the old Cast Iron Skillet,
that needs some effort,
grinding is another way,
wire brush, etc,
then dishwash and
reSeason...
Another skillet,
non induction
with a tighter fitting lid
(first doesn't have one
but using another and pouring
spouts on the skillet,
vs. a seam like around clear glass
a silicone steam hole
and edge of the glass type
risks, vs. aluminum (one painted/
coated now flaking)
the other more natural
oxidizing aluminum tarnish
type graying, covering....
Timing and carving then
cooking the turkey breast
takes some learning,
like anatomy of the
(big) bird, heat levels,
handling it, found my turkey
prong type turning, lifting
very big two prong fork like
and two of them,
finally a big pot but still not
fit in that well, turning that
boiling a liter of water or so
in the base of that,
and some red meat saw
underdone, but pulling off
what i could of the remaining
meat, some with a fork,
and putting down in the
water boiling to finish
cooking, well, neck and
other parts difficult to get,
and around cartiledge (sp?)
breast bone like sternum
not bone, more like tendon,
but not...

So 2 birds came in,
still frozen, and have last
years plus year plus old
Venison likely ground,
in a tube, like the ground turkey
and some vegetables from

spoiled, black carrots,
mold/ etc, gourds / butternut
and some white potatoes ok,
the 2 lbish (not 5?) yam/
sweet potato nuke 6 mins
2x or so and even then a hard
center on the biggest one...

say 10 miles went down,
but more problems
with a similar 7+? mile
walk for getting rid of the
Cable boxes (forgot remote,
not near the boxes,
did they still think i owe
on that? $5, really close
the account? no box can't
remote no box, missing,
one what's your name,
put the cables in the box,
and sending on to a second
person, is that necessary,
and glad to be away from
them, even as a secondary
connection...
