Along with Toys come taxes, well Uncle Sam wants his part,

and it's how the services you may depend upon are paid for,

they say one thing is certain, Death and Taxes...

 

Paula Poundstone, a classic depressive,

along with Steve Wright and some others,

George Carlin, Robin Williams (had that up part,

so many are jealous about, but real mania,

as in can not sit, pacing the hospital

and can't even stop to drink water,

breeds exhaustion, like a car racing engine

burns everything and eventually likely out...

(Turns out Paula is up on charges for Lewd Conduct

with a Minor, and a Foster Mom, as she was in Foster

Care herself as a kid...  Doesn't sound like Michael Jackson,

but I wasn't there...  And Guessing Much Less Money...)

planning ahead,

and well, keeping up with it,

didn't used to have to do,

No Income, No Taxes (tm)

no EZ forms, and electronic filing,

that time of year again to pay Uncle Sam,

or get something back from him,

if you have been paying all along,

and figured exemptions correctly,

then there is the other Uncles, State Taxes,

he/ she/ it stands in line, have to do Fed

before can do State, and at least in Virginia,

due a little later (MAY 1?)...

 

Taxes require pre-planning, as cramming taxes

can be next to impossible.

 

Free assistance requires planning ahead too,

VITA, AARP and others may help disabled,

older and low income and Uncle Sam is starting

to do fillable PDF (Portable Document Format, originally Adobe) forms,

which will do the calculations, but you still have to have forms,

and an accountants type thinking style, and/ or learn the terms,

Head of Household???

Single/ divorced, etc is relatively easy to figure out,

but isn't a Single person also the Head of Household?

Or is that splitting hairs?

 

IANAL, and IANAA, I Am Not A Lawyer, and

I Am Not An Accountant, just like I don't play doctor,

and prescribe/ advise without credentials,

I don't want to play the fool, YMMV, Your Mileage May Vary,

taking someone's advice, free at that, and

you need to determine how it applies to Your life,

or doesn't...

 

It's a shift of responsibility, someone says something,

like "Meds are bad", and someone goes off them

(usually Cold Turkey) and gets in crisis,

(dependency type withdrawl action on the meds

(why professionals do a tapering (gradual dose decreases/

increases called titrating?)

most people want to be off meds,

so it's easy to want that, but sometimes needed,

other times ineffective and dangerous,

Big Pharma has media campaigns that

meds are great, but then listen to the Fine Print

(like TheFinePrint2011 on Trusts),

and well, it can cause diabetes, heart disease,

kidney and liver failure, white blood cell problems,

etc.  No miracle pill, take diabetes and other stuff,

lifestyle changes and wellness (they have many thinking

talking wellness means charliton charlatan/ scam,

but Holistic Medicine (also negative connotations for a lot of people)

and more Politically Correct term Preventative Medicine,

wouldn't you change what you eat,

or how you live, if you could to live longer?

Feel better, and be healthier?

 

If it were that easy?  Take vitamins and think it helps with

cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, etc...

Exercise and Vitamin C seem to not have adverse

effects.  I was told to take VitC instead of Vicoden

for an accident pain, and well, better than being

Hooked on Narcotics, the pain was not that bad,

even though the colors I rarely, if ever seen on my body,

broken some bones and had crushing injuries,

and well, lucky to be walking/ standing...

BUT STILL IN PAIN...

 

But Uncle Sam, and Taxes, what this started with,

props to the budget hell we are all facing...

 

Crazy Old Uncle...

Seriously, I don't use that term lightly,

it's the C Word...

 

Budget cuts, radiation and other disasters,

it's really really scary, but hopefully survivable..

 

 

 

Conclusion

 

Summary of experience or similar

 

Lines were unbeleivable, and I went on the last week,

then had to come back the last day,

and they had to turn people away, the schedule

is not very clear, it's not come in during those hours,

if you arrive 15 mins before 1 pm, you will be told

to come back, and another suggested 1 hour before the opening

to get in line, and well I was first, and someone cut in front of me,

others didn't think being on the bench instead of standing at the door

counted, but some people were moral and stood up for me,

correcting those wanting to cut in line, not sure where the Meto employee

was, she said she was with me, but the guy there when I was there,

and empty parking lot, was sitting on a bench, and found he eventually

wanted to just use the computers...

 

I'm getting a sense it's like the clinic, waiting and your time instead of your money,

as if you don't have any, no other choice.  I could not figure it out and buying a tax

software wasn't going to help that.  Finding the information from what line

on the statements they send you... SSA sends something, and Medicare Parts A B and,D

count as medical expenses, 1040 A is for people who own houses, really to have enough

deductions to itemize....  God knows I could not find my medical expenses,

not a lot, most medical is not helping me, helps them financially, but not me,

"treatment resistant, major depression recurrent" and other issues like Autism,

ASD, Aspergers (Used to call it ASSBurgers, and sounds like it,

as Autistic sounds like Artistic)

 

So Trust didn't help, Special Needs, you think you have someone to take care of your

kids for you after you pass, but they aren't there, at least for me, they are abusive

and a human rights problem, like a lot of providers, living off the sick and poor,

and degradation at that...

 

Like Pathway Homes, their new monthly/ quarterly newsletter says they thought of something

NEW, Consumers Running Their Own Housing, WOW, How Original,

BULL SHIT, see JerrySpaceIdea , look at the Date of That, Years Ago,

and consider I WAS A PATHWAYS Resident, and RRWG Chair,

and THEY STOLE THE MONEY, PROVIDERS COULD NOT ALLOW

CONSUMERS TO SELF DIRECT, WHICH IS IMMORAL AND PROBABLY ILLEGAL,

 

So Cut Funding to Providers, and Consumers may be better off,

FIRE PROVIDERS, as they are parasitic, a lot of them, and breed dependency

and abuse, instead of what Recovery and Self Empowerment teach people,

self care, and support, mutual support.  I'm not sure how people learn about the

resources to do it yourself, as we usually start with the hospital, and then

learn after care, and then support groups, but starting from support groups,

going the reverse direction, you need stuff like this to hear about what other

options but Meds, Doctors, Appointments, PAYMENTS, Abuse,

Neglect and More Abuse...  For Their Egos...  Not for Your Good.

Or maybe you were a lucky one, and they cared...

 

i'm alive to complain about it, to make it better for others,

so they don't have to go through the same stuff I did,

and well, you don't hear much about that, as Providers

Think They ARE GOD, Like Doctors Playing God,

and Well, they are human, but not always humane...

 

And Uncle Sam want his part...
