Introduction/Definition/etc
Since the bicycle(s):
beater bike (rear wheel)
RideGenesisH1CommuterEBike2017
(something with the pedals?
+ eBike limited to short distances)
and folding Montague (flat with new rim)
are all down
and SunSeekerEZ3Trike2020
isn't up, derailleurs (sp?), brakes, etc
Walking has been my exercise
and getting around,
for what i used to do by pedaling
(a lot faster)...

some may thing it's safer not to bring
it in to store, i'm not sure,
i happen to have them down,
parts availability,
my mechanical issues, motivation
and energy, etc...
It's good to get some exercise,
and cooler weather i don't mind
as much...
An early start helps,
predawn, if up anyways,
the CurFew is bothering me,
as i used to walk in the overnight,
early am usually,
after drunks but before dawn,
as trail and light, for photos,
deer, wildlife/ animals (Bunnies/
Rabbits), etc
seen more when not as busy,
and avoiding people breathing on me,
the trails are not that wide,
some don't wear masks,
i generally don't, trying to breath,
but in close quarters (limited space),
i try to put on a mask,
my face is likely snivelly (sp?),
can't look that good,
and exercising like clothes,
not dress to impress,
as some younger people may
be looking for a mate, or
some unknown yuppie type standard(s),
but walking long distances,
besides my feet (run over by a MetroAccess
sent overflow taxi),
don't bother me that
much in cooler weather...
I usually have a goal in mind,
yesterday trying to find an
iTouchWearable
SmartWatch
the SE model i bought around
Father's day (?) so Juneish?
only 9months use and 1+ year warranty?,
the charging cable has two pins
one doesn't raise like a spring underneath,
and so i can't charge it,
have a limited time before i loose
battery,
i costs $10 (half price)
but shipping costs,
if ordered from the company
online, and the 3 model
which is more water proof
is coming out, so a dilemma (sp?)
but doesn't have as much heart:
Heart Rate,
Blood Pressure?
(No that would be useful
and need resting)
O2 sensor
so stuck,
and costs $60 sale price
(list $90?),
even with a 10% discount,
i had thought i would need
another charging cable but
not gotten around to getting one,
now with limited time and
resources, becomes more dire,
so tracking my walks,
number of steps, etc,
distance walked,
even an OpenGPSTracker
route sometimes helps,
stopping in at store,
bathroom use has been
important, luckily one was open
and made it to a store,
another time, some parks
have bathrooms, others i
didn't wander around to check,
but been up in the night
about every hour having to urinate,
some think it might be diabetes
a common symptom of that,
as well as sleepy with sweets,
and have had a lot of those
at times, but got a whole ham
at CapitalAreaFoodBankAtArlMill2020
this last weekend,
a long wait, but had wifi,
near the front of the line
starting pre dawn
so was able to listen to something
i would normally do around that time,
though too cold to type / use chat,
so missed out before the holiday again,
timing of that is bothersome,
both Saturday mornings,
the huge line and at least some
very arrogant staff/ volunteers,
trespassing and belligerent
(sp?) about it too...
A lot of ham, not sure what
the Muslim folks did about
that, some are, more than most
and rather WASPish volunteers
i guess their planning was not
turkey, and chicken was done
previously elsewhere,
so variety for me,
i might have traded for a second
ham, and the arrogant trespasser(s)
may have tried bribing me about
before, but no sale/ didn't take,
as busy with headphones with
audio losing signal too...
Tried some cold weather stuff,
and using the Rollenator
as a chair/ carrying platform,
just sitting around in the
predawn cold in the shade,
a lot like going to the warehouse,
but less walking to get there,
so never really warm up much,
anyways, long johns/ BaseLayers
not mentioned in AldiCantFinds2020
found one bottoms,
and three tops (2x XXL or XL,
1x Large
1x grey and 2x black mixed)
so got to try those,
some think they can't be used
as outerwear,
and i had too look up,
some do, others think it offensive,
i usually wear stuff over, shorts even
as i need the pockets, but like
leggings, tights, etc
much of which i can't find
(AttemptedMurderByInspections2019
a lot of stuff went bagged to storage,
off season especially and some
special washing/ dry cleaning
jacket(s) etc, so need to find
some of that, go through and
wash/ clean/ hand wash likely
and parka like outdoorsy
camping old down jacket/vest
warmest, but oil/ very old
high school age, and need
come TLC care/ sewing,
and the Aldi jacket from last year
$5 and $10 (reverse order)
going to ReelAbilitiesFilmFestival2019
but failed in getting there, late
and dark, cold, got another,
the pockets are small and don't
close so wallet, electronics,
gloves, all risking losing in smaller
pockets without closures,
i thought of grommeting (sp?) them closed
and a bungie cord like keep bigger
stuff from falling out, can move the
bungie cord to get into wallet
and say pull out a debit card
but some risks in doing that,
Velco is loud, but might be easier,
some sewing ability and other
redesign repurposing needed,
the jacket is good, for exercise
has a hoodie top, that and the
GardenLine gardening hat,
keeps store/ etc florescent
and headlights out of my eyes
going balding and head warm,
good shade protection other times
and some sneeze/ privacy
but has to be up like a cowboy
hat, or is blocking my vision
especially on the sides,
peripherally...
Bail Return by Buses/ Rail
Buses are free, and ended up
finishing some very long walks
with a public bus, one seemed
to be running again,
and found another one
between MerriField to
Ballston (saves Rail Fares,
especially when low on money
and last attempt to add fare
with coins failed at EFC,
usually try to have some emergency
amount on that reduced fare SmartCard
just for such things, but adding fare
on buses not really possible and not
by rail that often, so it hasn't happened,
yet, but would be good to remember,
now that I've driveled (sp?) on it,
maybe will remember...)...
Modified Text
What's Missing?
Planning?
Some wandering,
by bicycle not as bad,
not stuck without a bathroom
as much...
What Can Be Found?
Thinks to not think about while walking,
some deciding by exercising,
make a long journey for something?
then have to find something
to buy to justify the long trek?
What Can Not Be Found?
AldiCantFinds2020
a lot of the time...
How To Analyze?
Lenses
Noob
You walk how far?
Kid(s)
And you're tall too,
so easier, right?
Parents
Maybe bargaining
for screen / game time,
and they accompany you
on your walks/ bike rides,
ActiveTransitForPECredit2019
and start learning a healthier
life style?
Dis/Dys
I'm sure books are written
about treking in EU/
doing the Camilla?
religious trek in Spain,
to San _ cathedral,
but what of the US
besides the Appalachian
Trail, Pacific Coast, etc?
General Public
May not understand long
walks, no beach to speak of,
SunRise/ SunSet,
rushing to a fast paced lifestyle
too busy to stop and smell
the exhaust/ green house gasses
one is creating that way(s)...
Assumptions
Exercise is good but
extremes not always good
wearing blisters/ blood blisters
in feet take weeks to heal,
and not so good to do
so often, muscles/ tendons,
highly variable sloth like inactivity,
to such extremes, etc...
Time Limits
Early leaving helps,
as turns out it takes to long
leaving 10+AM and 6+ hours
starts getting dark,
so have to bail to Bus/
Rail to get back by dark,
which gets cold(er) again
visibility in/ around roads,
and safely back to home/
bed (zonk out quickly
then get up start all over again,
or like this journal it...)
Book Data
Likely trail and
Fat Man Walking
type books that go further,
my first was to food meetings,
overweight, and high triglycerides,
likely from medications,
changed that and how i was living,
driving more, and got back into
bicycling, as transit/hobby,
which i had done as a kid
and later, commuting to work,
but had showers, bail to rail,
odd work schedule to stay
around late/ go early
quiet time to do any thinking,
etc...

/GoFish
some other stuff getting there
likely by bicycle, some walking,
varies, see for what trips
what methods/ routes, etc
but respect privacy,
waving at people one thing
breathing to say hello
or even thinking of what to say
(wittier than "are we there yet?")
is another thing...
Conclusion
Summary of experience or similar
I still walk, some think it defeat for a biker
to walk, i think more cross training,
given supply shortages
and disabled/ elderly
so have some more time,
too much time in isn't good for me,
lowering risks of being breathed upon,
off the pavements, helps, feet get sore,
tired, and constant pounding on hard
surfaces, went on sidewalk helps,
some planning and adapting helps,
a lot of police motorcycles
around a holiday pumpkin in a
mowed field by the trail,
(for deer?) turned out to be
a funeral procession,
one of them had bike racks,
some (shout out)
claim(ed) i knew the person...
Limited and discrete ways
of knowing...

Was it an emergency?
Do you plan your intake of
liquids?
or was it something feeling sick?
Suddenly have to go
where driving you might find
a fast food restaurant or someplace
and buy something for the privilege?
Do you have pay toilets where you are?
Reading of it/ seeing video of Germany
EU/etc and how it's different there,
pay some places, unlike the USA?
What do you see along the way?
Anything interesting?
