Remembering who is really committed to the meal...

 

Body

 

So pre Holiday, what typically happens, for those that have been around so long, and those that haven't?

 

Non Profits put up someone to make the donors feel good about themselves,

for what they have and haven't done over the year,

but in the hood, people are on the attack,

those that have, at least some are attacked again,

those that don't, resent those that do,

perhaps?

and generally, it is an end of season, will we have enough to survive the winter,

again,

or like older people, will we live to see the New Year, much less Spring,

as the Holidays are full of problems: social, financial, emotional, spiritual, and logistical problems,

how to get where we are going?

bike there?

what about the drunks on Saturday night in DC?

are the trails safe?

after dark? realizing clocks changed a few weeks ago and still getting used to it,

even with trail lights?

and/or are you allowed?

followed and/or someone mugged?

along a place some D.C. reports have had problems,

or out in the country in Maryland,

the ghost bike celebrations of an older couples' demise by a drunk, most likely,

while the new kids on the block, want one,

a kewl new bike, to them, from someone else,

whether obtained legally, or not,

added bonus: "what's in the bag?"

"We want x,y,z" , but luckily "They" didn't take,

just city kids, or any kids, really, "We Want...", have worked on our holiday list,

and "Welcome to D.C." ...

Naughty and/or Nice?

Our Town, in Hip Hop Nation, as I call it,

some Hope, mostly Faded,

 

But what dreams and nightmares do you have for the New Year?

Remembering some family scenes are still more like Halloween, than giving thanks (nod to the Goths...)

 

Then Black Friday, when the stores traditionally go into the Black, and most profit is make, sales time,

early A.M. lines, and a few get outdoors type stores, pushing people to get exercise and skip all that...

 

and The Turkey (tm: the White then BlackHouse) that get's pardoned?

Is that you?

Do you get the axe for the holidays?

Trying to attack people?

Hood them?

force a saying you want to hear, by brute force?

that they can work, and you think they are faking it?

or another setup, trying to kill those you don't like...

 

Back in the day, kids did play the parts of the Turkey,

and we are the play, all the world's a stage and all,

(aside OdetoaFarmersMarket )

the childhood performances are a mess, a lovely mess,

ones we do all the time,

/cough /cough,

cover your mouth, into the shoulder and/or sleeve,

but others get hugs and the germs spread around,

cold and flew / flu season,

if only the turkey could fly away,

CVS tries selling a little micro drone for ~$40

(find link for sales flyer AeroDrone X6, but most don't have it)

but none to be seen in the hood,

already gone by Monday,

build it class missed, no money for FPV parts,

( DroningOnAboutMultiRotors2015 a typical winter activity for me, for one year running, and not...)

and same old, same old, others new to them...

 

What about getting drones to do the clown type mime-ish juggling?

I don't have the coordination,

but program the display?

have a little fun

watch the prop wash...

one on top of another: the down draft a little much,

so keep some room,

heterogeneous (odd mix),

and the clown, wearing homeless attire, mostly, ever notice how they make fun of those that dress funny?

but what if you don't have a choice?
