Some low level medical devices

with BlueTooth, available in one of a

local pharmacy chain and online,

and some apps that don't do what

I want, and the German corp

response didn't seem to get 

even the question right...

Trying two devices for health,

Blood Pressure and PulseOxiMeter

both around $50 each, with

BlueTooth, but the app

requires location to add the device

and keeps nagging about location

even after that, plus being a

foreign company, number one

in healthcare in Europe or somesuch

marketing, with open wifi, and

health information on the

cloud causes problems an email

admittedly written late at night

and on a smartphone, didn't

seem to address...

 

beurer is somehow in bed

with CVS, at least one of them,

figuratively, if not literally,

and CVSConspiracy2017

with the 4G LTE

problems, CVS corporate

trying to do something,

merge or take over,

and wondering how healthcare

now with a Doc Governor Elect

Republican President

and financial problems

following storms and generally

only caring about the rich

(taxes for the rich and thinking

trickle down would work again,

taking America, or at least

Robber Barons back as a goal,

is really going to help anything...)

 

Reviewing the two devices,

I find one is replaced with

a touchscreen model, the

only one listed on the app,

actually there are two apps

for these devices a

Coach and Health Manager,

packaging, while in English

don't say much, a QRCode

(most use Location)

and a weblink for compatibility

are your only real tech information,

and while German engineering

may be good, in some ways,

the cross language, and/or other

issues are difficult.  

 

At about the price of the CVS house

brands, and OrSomething competing

on the shelves, at about $100+ for an

upper arm model, and the

pulse oximeters (sp?)

also house brands,

but without BlueTooth,

and keeping the data, which,

if I could transfer it easily

and into my own spreadsheet,

text file logging, my own created apps,

etc, might be good, but

I have a feeling it is a lost cause...

 

Open Hardware and specs would

help that, but they are still competing

instead of cooperating, afaict...

 

So another store wants to sell

the house brand (CareFirst?),

not that different than a

$6.99 version, or misplaced, and

a sign too far away at a customer

service desk/counter/ register

(busy with $100 bills and selling

lottery tickets), about their pricing policy

at a grocery store,  had to try self

ringing up, then cancel, given it wasn't 

the $7 or so the label below said,

at a chain, with a HiGi machine

which will do it for you, but you

are somehow malingering in their

store, with security guy checking

people on the way in, comments

of CoinStar, and bathroom,

and other non customer type stuff,

and 24 hour, a dangerous urban like

walk away, especially at night,

so DIY seems best, even if I'm not

a doctor, getting real information

might help..

 

Vitals, they are called, SPO2

arterial Oxygen is not a vital,

but might be helpful, choose

a finger, ignore the latex warning

and an easy press power when off

for 5 seconds or so to transfer 

data over BlueTooth to the smartphone

which nags, and other problems,

still stopping, but playing MyHospital

or actually doing readings on

myself, for check, and learning

when and how to check, is

a learning, even if clearing the

cache is like clearing the pipes

at a hospital, buying tools,

and listening to customers

seems to be the way to get

stuff, or Visit Friends and Buy Goods,

how Pharmacy name changed,

in a recent CherryPicking

(maybe CheeryPicking was correct?)

Software upgrade...

 

beurer (might sound like bayer

the aspirin company, but not...)

BM95 or so is a blood pressure

monitor with a cardiac function, 

and not easily found, even online,

they also have a cardiac sampling

one for hundreds, place it one of

three or four places to get 30 seconds

records, and a few of those saved,

numbers not checked yet,

but an interesting device...

Not full leads like an ER visit,

where not taken seriously and

intermittent, and ignored,

and now maybe a real problem,

kind of like an enlarged testicle,

and maybe now cancer,

spread all over, and close to death,

but what the hell, he's not paying

much and costing us a lot.

so turf him out of here,

let him die somewhere else

so as not to affect our stats...

And playing the numbers,

and images, not reality and 

ethics and morality of really

caring, which is tiresome,

as so many people and 

complaints, how to select

which ones to really care about???

 

Compassion fatigue, some

$100 words, as clinical psych

classes taught, but really,

not really, don't care, it's easier,

let the phone get it, can't answer

might be a suicide caller,

and they just die anyways,

really probably a  turkey

hotline caller, budwieser

(read horse piss)

solves the day all the time

anyways...

 

They (beurer) also make a food scale

with BlueTooth, found online,

also rather expensive,

and maybe only support iPhones/iOS,

while beurer is the company

that made the $15 scale that

CVS Health distributes but

can't seem to provide a PDF

of the instructions,

not that complicated

but paper gets dropped in the sink

and left at home, and while

in several different languages

not helpful, like a lot of the people

in retail, there and elsewhere,

just buy something and get out...

 

Some more snide and ridiculing

than others, but still less than

some power hungry county

employees and even a

volunteer dentist, and snickering

crowd of little people at another

Hate Fare, likely closed down

by order of the governor,

more abusive than helpful,

we don't want to help him,

he's not of our type, 

and "I don't want them

to have it today" or very

similar about the CaBi

out front while taking it

in is an inconvenience

bordering upon calling

the authorities,  which

may not even discriminate

as much as those locally,

and just ignore, or selectively

enforce, and other continuing

problems of being stalked

and hunted in Virginia...

Well the Northern one,

some think is a Blue State,

but Hate and Charlotesville,

and even back to

Love v. Virginia,

one of the milestone

civil rights cases,

most don't know, nor care

about, but not like the 

Virginia Is For Lovers

tourism marketing

campaign...

 

So would Virginia become

a Sanctuary State like California?

Trump tweets there are no

Sanctuary Cities in Virginia,

or similar, but I digress...

 

So for ThanksGiving, most don't

seem to care, it's about Family,

for those that have a functional one(s),

and even those that don't...

The insanity gets outlandish,

and while many may be celebrating,

and happy, others are suicidal and

miserable, as is the course of the

Holidays for many...

 

A kid, unidentified, probably a

Dreamer, might want a rich

father, and only see the outward

appearances, the WearableCameras2015

bicycles, and WowWeeToys2017

etc, and think that is family,

and want to be white, or non latino,

(the big L's around here?)

or whatever, non Muslim and have

cereal or other furbidden (leaving sp?)

to be easier to live among

the dominant upper class whites,

I guess, but the shoes and hate

and other stuff, people could probably

do without... One kid gets his bike

stolen by local tall bullies,

or it seems, while some fatter latino kid

claims to have set it up,

wanted it to happen,

teaching him something,

and other dominating and abusive

to just plain illegal actions,

that the back alley doesn't really

cover well, I'm just walking by,

wondering if they are going to

kill me for the old cameras,

now 5 generations back,

and not even functioning most

of the time, ...

 

spell check and typing not catching

up and slowing the thought processes/

ranting down...

Health Care should Care,

not just about money...

 

They are just thinking about

themselves, even at work,

when trying to get your personal

information, Medicare card,

and ID, and then rediculing

(sp leaving it)

hating, when it was supposed

to a free flu shot, ala 

LIAF2017 and a Harris Teeter

calls, should have refused or ignored,

the girls behind the counter not

really caring, just giggling

and laughing at customers,

he's doing the right thing,

really they want him to drop

dead, or go in the rain storm

and look rediculous (sp? red faced is the

goal, i guess like picking on red haired kids),

thereby humiliating the coworker

assigned to do the shots,

while they needed help getting

the job, I guess grades and beauty

and just work spraying people at 

Macies instead?

 

Time Limits

 

Sometime before you die,

figure out how and why...

 

Wasted time with things

that don't matter, as people

want from you, when you

had better take better care

of yourself, brush your teeth,

and  floss and other humiliating

lectures for the egos of the dentist

and students, not for the patient,

in a public humiliation scheme

known as a hate fare...

and a few links to it, but not much,

interesting tech, and Bluetooth will add

$30 or so to a device, volume and

licensing the use of the comm chip,

then have to get FCC approvals,

as radiates, and other overhead,

but if you can't figure out the smartphone,

maybe just do it manually and learn

the numbers...

Summary of experience or similar

 

Nothing conclusive, moderately

high blood pressure,

but learn how to take it, lying down,

instead of sitting up, as monitor

near the heart level, and when 

to sample will contribute to the 

findings, data is data, and 

what you look for is likely

what you get, like shopping

for doctors, finding a good one,

is hard, and no easy answers...

 

As they miss the question

and only hear what they want

to hear, as the real issue,

not just the face value,

is really about money,

and making it, not spending it,

and how we dump people

off the rolls, citizenship one,

and then wonder how it's 

gone to hell, give us your

tired, your sick, your poor,

and we will kill them?

Neglect them?

Humiliate them?

Abuse them?

Spray them?

and Kill them?

 

Not what health care is

supposed to be about...

Nor, our country...

 

Germany already learned that?

Or not?

 

Many issues, and self care 

also important...

DIY medical might not work,

but learning along the way may help...

and which also requires a bus ride/ taxi,
