So thanks for sharing on the Serenity Prayer...

That's part of what i got in response to my first
lead at the group...

And over time i came down off the walls/shelf,
so to speak...

I'm barely connected today and didn't ride out,
so will go from that parts i heard...

We have a tradition of CAL Conference Approved Literature,
which helps keep focus on the program...

There are many other areas people get into,
especially in a group like this...

And believe me i could talk your ears off
about mental health, and books the state
bought into, with supposed consumer
buy in, and things they didn't like things
i've written, and latest is ADULT
during a BANNED Books month at least around here...

But the tradition, one of many, 12 to be precise,
and an extra scholong step added on for those
who can't keep it in their pants,
and/or skirts, kilts, etc
what ever...

People come here from all sorts of backgrounds,
and beliefs, but the thing that binds us
is the other(s) that drink, and how
we react to it...

Otherwise we go off on other philosophies,
treatmsnts, some of which are dangerous,
while may work for some, may kill others...

And advice giving is rampant.

We keep the focus on ourselves,
not on others, or would be all war stories,
of how bad the drinkers are currently,
at least starting out...

And hearing about the third person,
it would be difficult to tell where
that's the person speaking and their
unmet needs, for affection,
worship, and other obedience,
plus the usual monetary stuff,
like we control others with money,
a typically male thing, some times,
but also a leash/ restricting,
and other problems...

But i'll stop for now and
maybe this is better in Off Topic
at the end, and nobody probably reads
it anyways...
