So after getting the RPiZeroWH
at FAirfax, checked around for another,
learning some electronics, likely
to fry it, and starting a robots
project with only one central part
a brain
if i only had a brain,
seems unwise...

Pickup in Northern Baltimore,
by FriDay,
which seemed generous
except MARC trains have bike
racks only on weekends,

then get the notice for
yet another inspection
MonDay...

Lots of uncertainty, i'd juggled
finances, returned the 37 in 1 sensors
kit labeled ~$30 but charged me $37
and returned two RPi Pico a plain and a W
which left me with a little
but not a lot for a trip up

looking at expenses,
bike to Shady Grove
do not pass go do not collect $200
from MonoPoly
and started early

201 bus $5 each way,

All day transit pass
light rail
and buses,
but not the 201 commuter Bus
a different system/ premium
coach intercity bus,
which takes over 1.5 or so
but has a bathroom in the back,
i hadn't checked, as concerned
with seeing out and couldn't
even type stuff on the smartphone
without feeling car/ bus sick...

BUt left so earl, pre dawn,
might have had alternate transportation
from unknown people,
as emailed out about soeone going that
way and didn't hear back,
but kinda like through walls,
and even the local community bike shop
was talking about it,
which seemed unsafe,

but biked anyway
up the night,
woke before midnight
and wrote Games2023
if i'd call that writing
i haven't edited that
and had some sugar today,
113g BackPack StrawBerry yogurt cup
and 5 Werther's cinnamon caramels
the serving size
still need to look up how much sugar
that is
plus weight,

trying to catch up on eating
after biking and tired and sore,
so some long windedness, jumping around
in the time line of things,
interleaved, a bit...

But shower and a lot of packing ahead
of time
a gelato tub of things
thinking i'd be without power
found an older brick,
and it was charged,
finding some taillights
as last time some police
didn't like that
though lit streets,
little traffic after stranded
past the last MetroRail trains
returning and got a lecture
told they don't like me,
and other hate like stuff,
from someone likely overheard
it happening, a black woman
who may have been on the bus
or just heard it,
and showing schedules
i couldn't read,
dark and need to put my face into it
plus pissed off...
schedules don't match to get all
from arrivals to next leg of the journey,
but supposedly some people have
people who care about them to come get
pickup from the rail instead of airport
no need for shuttles, cabs, etc...

And the hate filled problems of a
driver of the 201 late at night
last one going, afaict
playing youtube video while driving
of a journalist/ videographer
and police interactions
think Howard Stern/ GreaseMan
but less class,
provoking or something
i didn't care nor want to listen
to that stuff and think it unwise
to do while driving and having a captive
audience on the bus,
especailly when later stranded again

So more than a few concerns about going
not the least of which i'd been without
much sleep that night,
as my normal sleep pattern doesn't match
well with a lot of normal activities,
up in the night and down during the day,
and a long trip, even not biking it all,
which i've tried and got almost there,
for a RobotFest and one ended
early for civil unrest Rioting
in Baltimore, i'd not been listening
to reports but someone had been killed
afaict and the backlash of that,
whom, i'm not sure, but some changed
in Baltimore, a balck mayor
while a white governor,
iirc...

So also money was / is short,
not getting much in SNAP EBT
and under $50 which seems like a lot
but i eat and need cold liquids
while doing rides,
mid day heat of 81 degrees forcast
and later hear a bad air quality
index, asmhatic sp? trouble breathing
and dry warm,
pollen, not really mentioned
so i've had a toilet paper roll
on the handle bars, some early temps
in the 40s so a mix to 80
during mid day...

Biked up the usal to rockVille
but earlier,
leaving just about dawn,
0545a or so,
think i got a photo of a mothers
day flier only in the elevators
which owuld be about start time,
went back in to get one of those
not posted anywhere else,
that i saw, so remaining fliers,
i'd been in resting the day before,

and packed i hoped and off like a herd
of turtles, some family used to say,
soemone trying to get a uber / rideshare
like fare, and hadn't arranged much
like even a start time
0500? or 5ish adn who all is involved
meeting strangers and trapped in a car with them,
variabled of what power,
windows and back seat,
and/or charging, getting car sick
stranded and kidnapped,
as so many had heard what i was doing
a long beard at the local community
bike shop saying civil unrest wouldn't go
and talking towards me while i'd finished
app updates nad later downloading maps
of the possible route, offline for gMaps
likely missing critical segments,
as a limited rectangle, and 50 MB or so each
for many going diagonal toward Baltimore
then north to the store,
and their's a west towards Shady Grove
and an older bike route i'd asked for
that went north then east
and throught Olney?
some place i'dbeen,
and considered just bike there
instead of Route 1 which i've done
at least once, and further,
camping for the long distance,
the Devil's triangel i'd called it for
CrazzyGuyOnABike Annapolis playing
in the situtation as dropped off
there and going North around Father's
Day and my first problem
which turned out to be shingles
bumps and seemed poison ivy like
but painful as well,
not just itchy and on my face,
in my eyes and become blind?

So lots of baggage besides my usual,
keeping even the bags hanging from the handlebars
food scales, and a food insulated bag,
on the back zipper pulled out
and might lose things
but getting cold stuff would be nice
if it stayed cold and a rear like
visibility thing, orange this one
and not covered with duffel duffle? bag
extra clothes and miscellanious
taken off in the latest rubbing problem
o nthe back wheel,
evne pumped up the tires,
but didn't get around to hand washing
the fishing vest, as wouldn't dry
in time?

But leaving so early and sunrise
was interesting, might have even got
a couple photos of it coming up
from various interesting places,
when i could see it,
a brief stop each,
and route a concern,
since so many knew the route
and that i was going would i meet
some bikers trying to jack things,
muggings basically and/or other stalking
problems?

Like kids trying to ride along
well conditioned bikers might want
to accompany to get some school
credit, bragging rights, etc
and i ride alone, not really
good at group riding
despite doing some ride marshalling,
and recently talked to a person
buying a bike, she was in the plaza
and testing out a bike
from Phoenix, the tag still on it,
$375 or so,
I'd suggested trying the gears
and shee din't know how that worked
have to pedal to change them
not just crank down on the levers,
these thumb ones
on a skinny tired hybrid like
so a mix of technologoes to start
and a small cassette on the back
no granny gears?
and radial spokes?
she wanted to give me something
i'd said i'm not with the shop
had sold there and another place(s)
but been a while

later looked at online
and not found so she bought it
and wanted to get me something
idk what by CVS i'd been over
there after and police presence,
bunny ears on 75% clearance,

stock up? hadn't but need for
the trip all available funds,
don't want to be stuck without
and/or stranded and buses
not taking me after pigtown
where to stealth camp
much less use a bathroom
evne grocery stores closed
later, seeing an Aldi on gMaps
near where i was told to turn around
go back into town to go back out
a Yellow Link route?
after beltway/ expressway
(i95s 695 etc i being InterState) 
and water rivers/ streams
bridges blocking what would be sprawl...

But i'm dancing around the timeline
and issues, past and present...

Made it down the chain bridge,
hill to the river, bad brakes,
hadn't put it on the new stand to
work on those thinking not many
hills,
stopping for putting onpads
cold and in case crash,
less damage to me
early morning traffic
sun coming up still,
low in the sky and pleasantly
cold/ cool some nose dripping
and use of toilet paper roll
others maybe amused
thought ghetto?

At the C&O to CCT bridge
and stairs someone talking to me,
just came in skinny tires and going
down not understanding i'm talking
about the weight i just carried up
he hinking something else,
and judging based on appearnaces
skinny and baggers/ mountain touring
utility don't necessarily
mix well, some for speed,
another for whatever...

but he didn't see that i dropped
anything,
i'd had problems before of things
coming off my handlebars,
mirrors, and headlight,
not well attached
while my feet i can't really see,
as look down and may fall back?
flip flops like sandles, worse
as those came off stepping back
a few times one of the previuos times
but didn't wan to go all the way
down to Fletchers again to
go trail to trail without stairs,
take the short cut,
up and lift, my back might be ok
with it will see..
not twisting and put shooulders
into it, combined weight i never
determined, lock being most
but had put on some liquids
probably still cold
Mango nectar box 1 litre or so
was cold but doesn't have to be,
while Kefir, similar 1 litre/ quart
may need to stay cold so use up
and not that much sugar
while way over on the nectar
might make me sleepy?
a problem with lack of sleep
and telling from tired and/or
some prediabetic/ diabetic sugar
response...

Still cool and moving rather fast for
me pumping up the tires may have helped
some rubbing of brakes and discolored
side walls on one side so something
about balloony and badly pressed
front tire,
had a folding tire i'd carry along
as a spare but that's packed
somewhere, and usually for the other
folding bike, which might have helped
but needs some repairs in the brake cable
set area, maybe shifting, i don't recall,
but buying not having put on
and finding both parts somewhere
much less getting to them
packed tight, and unlabeled lose
etc not happening for a while
until can unload and unpack everything
which means something else entirely...

Been a year of uncertainty court
and aftermath, inspections after inspections,
lease problem and notice after notice
they see SNT  and try taking that,
so far getting a lot
which is illegal afaict
but hte lawyer doesn't care to help
recover only get credit for a win
while screwing me over,
on the costs/ damages,
besides th embarassing in court
and later chewed otu by the juge
in what might have been an after party
some press type thing
which  iddn't attend,
leaving instead and getting attacked
on the way out, likely getting

like and those people should live
we are better than them/ that
while seemingly proper on the surface
afaict...

But made it up the CCT
seeing a bunny which helped lift my mood
some, just sitting there llooking aroud
kinda scared, dogs nearby, wondering why
it would risk it, taunting or something
defending it's area? with what cuteness
and willingness to run fast?

And into the BEthesda read,
the trail dumping at an information
kiosk which had maps, not finding mine
from previous trip and it was closed
early still, arriving at TJs
in downtown Bethesda, there are at least two
TJ in that jurisdiction, this
not open at 0730-0745a had to wait
too long, keep going, one in RockVille
next to MicroCenter

Nearly killed? a car coming along
Nicholson lane as i might have misjudged
distance, and they going faster than allowed?

Stopped at NFCU for any money
but low balance and they only
dispensed $20 or $50 bills,
a few people forming a line
behind me, i dind't tell them
my problems, looking baggy
near homeless and didn't seem
like it would be heard well,
like panhandling or something,
whining, quibbling?

On to TJs there, and was qblet o
get some cash back for the bus,
$10 all i could take otu
from the $12.xx and bought a  bag
to do that, turns out two transationct,
some cheese sticks, a yogurt cup,
and lox cheapest was everything bagel
seasoned, 4oz in the $5-6 range,
higher priced peices $9?
and smaller 3oz not enough for hungry
biker me...
already had the kefir from home,
and bee nthere before
staffa nd just opened,
so a line some ladies nice enough
to let be before her cart full of stuff
and talking to the ladies

a male manager like opened a register
and took care of the bag cash back,
even giving change $10 bill
a $5 and ones
thinking maybe pay cash for
all day pass?
how much was that again
disabled about half fare/ rate

while somone leaving was nice bike
or something, it's my wheelchair, i'm
disabled...

and out and start on something,
packign and leaving near the woman
who let me ahead,
seemed odd like i was following her,
but said byes and up the edge side,
turns out someone coming the other way
walking and not a ride out
up and over a curb grassy segment
but got out, through a gas station,

and on to sidewalk past Congressional?
to Congressional North, which has the
Aldi and stop in there
get something else, what?
cold? frozen some cheesecake

and helps keep other things colder too,
some wooden utensils gotten at TJs
in paper, nice not plastics
so many of those they are paper bags
though he found an old plastic
seasonal holidays one in the cubbie sp?
hole/hold...

But memories of the police problems
last trip coming back in the dark,
no headlights as need for later,
travel ime so high,
 hours, and light run time less,
 plus lit streets don't see why
 they can look for bikes plus
 reflective vest, close enough for around
 here, but apparently not there
 they get called off of attacking/hunting me,
 
With enough testosterone to start a WWF
for something contest...
Power and control and some homeless problems
seen around there in bus stop shelters,
near government services, court
but strung out along the pike...

i'd written about it and not sure
the backlash, i think one trip
was followed, checked on,
observed, someone buying fish,
large salmon maybe for the VP
who might have come to visit?
though likely cancelling with
lots else going on, don't remember
the politics, at the moment,
some crisis more important
then local issues...


But had seen another  bunny along
the trail another treat,
someone let theirs out
and had to catch it again,
getting school credit for amusing me?
nice enough, hope it came back

and nice digs, even has lights
long there, likely from the development

Passing people and pleasant tenough early
morning stuff, walking kids, elderly,
and lots of out for a morning walk,
get the kids out and get day started,
housework and/or get coffee, etc...

Branches and things in the way,
some sidewalk problems further up,
some wires/ cables, and impediments,
i'd been thinking of doing some video
and/or text probelms biking on sidewalks
whhile streets to fast busy
crowded unfriendly also for lower vision
than most, to rmeember and some gps
range audio reminders, possble
an app could be built?
and reposring things,
more visibliity and poles jumpong
out of nowhere,
buses seem to think only thing
o nthe sidewalk is for people
tkaing buses,
a slolum? skiing gates like course
but can't always do especially with
others around, and curb cuts at odd angles,
poles telephone and other,
some really odd angles
others a deep pot hole
dip wave, maybe pressed in by consturction
company legs/ braces for a crane?
and it's an obstacle course,

and why i wouldn't want to be on the
sidewalk while traffic light near midnight
after stranded by public transit
thinking i could just rail home,

the detour changed nd done with that,
fencing down, but still rather odd,
just after the thud i experience

problem there...

and odd times homeless nearby...

back to regular along road
sidewalk, enough pedestrians bus
people waiting that's it's a problem
for me...

distance, etc...
even regular wheelchairs
likely have problem, afaict...

But Aldi and gave a woman with
duaghter/ grandmotehr likely
first time there, and needed
a quarter,
only had  nickel or something
and i'm being nice while get
something from white people game
also possible,
what's a quarter

Aldi keychain finally found again,
and would the other one fall out
now that not pressed tight
and expanded?

i'd done the Unity bridge
and wanted to skip that,
but where to find the rail ther other way

But Gode or similar seems the intersection
i took going at night the other way,
and over a trail side walk like
to an intersection, cross that and got
over, only to have a jackhammer go

almost straight into a curb

and he's the son of the bus driver
i'd had problems with, someone countering
that?or trying to make a crash,
