Beware of the 'Ides of March'

Jerry enters this Blog entry on StarDate 20070316 with impending storm outside following unseasonablely good weather and this week's RRWG monthly meeting at the Institute interrupted by a fire alarm (think of kids getting outside on a test day ;-) ):

We LiveInInterestingTimes with the impending planning to the end of the fiscal year on June 31, 2007 and many other rapid changes recently within the RRWG and region.

• Amy has been hired as the Program Director of the Community Support Center with the Institute, filling the job announced in Recovery Jobs page and will likely be very busy working on our yet unnamed CSC May 31 Trauma and Seculsion and Restraint related topic Conference at GMU.
• Pam, our consumer RRWG CoChair, is out on leave for a few months and we hope she continues to recover with our care and concern.
• Wendy has resigned as a Co Chair (Jerry suggesting putting the resignation letter up here as an open letter like his CWCResignationLetter, Wendy declined to make it open...)
• Leaving Beth as 'a single legged chair' where three and four legged CoChairs (plus 'Coordinator'?) were originally hoped in a mixed membership collaborative partnership.
• Jerry missed the February large group RRWG meeting and COS subgroup meeting (COS due to late notice after MetroAccess reservation deadline) and is unable to tell from the Official document(s), including Minutes and less formal flurry of emails, what is really happening behind the scenes,
  • but has been told
    • that people don't
      • want to use the wiki for things like collaboratively drafting formal letters in response to fiscal changes,
      • 'airing our laundry in public' and other such possibly power distribution, coordination, collaboration and communication issues.
    • 'we want better than you' possibly refering to his applying for the Coordinator position or perhaps applied universally to everyone as recovery in general...
• Interactive Website funding appears to be at a small fraction of the original proposal ($50k) even after proposing WebsiteProposedFiscalUpdates,
• and the hiring process of our 'Coordinator' proceeds with contraversy.

Addendum: Jerry sees little positive about what is happening recently, but if you do, I'd like to hear it. For him, positive thinking is sometimes like asking a person in a wheelchair to walk...
