Introduction/Definition/etc
Beast Of Burden (BOB)
Yak single wheel bicycle trailer
for touring, and other uses,
mostly just reminds me that
I'm not having fun,
but also not stuck out in the rain/
storm, cold, etc... At the moment...
Body
Original Text
At about $200 (originally,
now over 10 years ago,
so inflation, likely a gift
from family at the time,
hoping i live through the ride/tour,etc
and for my Richmond
tour, mentioned on
DCtoRichmondBikeTour
but used on other tours later,
and occasionally on other stuff,
overnights, etc...
Modified Text
What's Missing?
some easy way to get the special clips,
but coat hanger wire works in a pinch,
buying the flag,
and other accessories, tire size,
tubes, whole new wheels, etc
and mount to the bike,
skewers, special hooked ones,
and other stuff...
it's a business, not DIY...
What Can Be Found?
twins/evil cousins, etc...
What Can Not Be Found?
How To Analyze?
Lenses
Assumptions
Carrying stuff is possible,
but longer, heavier, etc...
Jackknifing the trailer to hold
the bike up is sometimes possible,
and a major reason for a trailer,
for some people, loaded and a kickstand
on mud, sand, etc is pointless, afaict...
There aren't always trees/ posts/
higher guardrails, etc to lean against...
Similar with hammocks, not always
a way to prop them up,
bringing your own stand may be necessary,
afaict, but light weight, not harming the
trees, etc...

Conclusion
Summary of experience or similar
A good solution for high end,
not so much for low end,
and can not easily convert to a tag
along type pull by yourself,
stoller like?
Discussion
A place for feedback on the page presented
What touring have/can you do?
Do you have safe places to store it?
Say in and around schools/ businesses,
etc...
Do you listen to the don't put live in these?
Dogs, kids, anything that may die/
get hurt/ bleed/cry/ be damaged
(robots?) etc...
Forestry service and chainsaws
were one of the selling points,
axes, and crews going out on trails,
doing work on trails, etc...
Do you do any of that?
How about stream cleanup?
Or too messy for a good trailer
to haul trash out with?
