Conclusion
Summary of experience or similar
Well, an hour into Disc1
and started with a Baker's Dozen (13)
(=12+1)
and eliminating one,
at the end of the hour,
some more bottom end contestants,
and likely more humorous and
more possible learning for me,
as like Worst Chefs/amateurs,
it shows some basics that might be
of course for more seasoned people,
(read everyone else)...
So personalities, there is a lightness
but seriousness to the show(s)
too, tough judges, are you scared of them,
some playfulness with the judges,
and crits are serious and sometimes
mean when not knowing whom,
with a card of photograph, testing blind,
but the audience/ viewers see the faces
but i guess the judges are just
looking at the cake/bakes instead,
could have backs turned or hidden
somehow, maybe more Top Chef
in another room?
The nervousness, some people are young,
some seniors, professionals, and live at home(s)
with mom/dad, the biographical sketches
are interesting, some starting elsewhere
a Pakistani (Background) all from/in England,
and parts of which I don't know,
not being there, and a USofA PITA,
but will learn... The accents are interesting
some so thick, some subtitles closed captioned
helps, others distracting, but will see...
Disc2
Like the bakers and show
planning and running out of time,
baking and decorating at the end,
prep time, and short deadlines,
so might not really get to all of these,
have to do a second pass,
like for books...
A good start but not edible,
tasteable (sp?),
salt in the bake,
some fell,
lots of cuts,
injuries, blue bandages,
and other stuff that make it scary,
not all the uncertain why they
only risk a tent, instead of a castle,
and surroundings...
Much less the studio audience...
