So the end of the season approaching and or at
for some, Farmers Markets
most seasonal ended October like AnnanDale?
Reston stays open until Xmas with a crafts,
but run by the Reston Association
after the county ends their term
Some markets are Year Round,
heady souls braving weather,
travel, some prepared and stocked items,
some foods keep in a cellar and can freeze others don't
and have to stay warm,
or rot,
Clinics, TBH season has ended,
from what i gather,
i went to a little of the BikeBikeEveryWhere
instead, as rain forecast and had done
40 miles not enough energy for the other 10
and suggested a Bike Model,
kind of cadaver like for anatomy class
but FrankenBike it and make it alive,
so 3D model,
starting like SugarLabs/ OLPC
Pippy Python learning/ training
environment Physics example program
you can create objects and then do something
with them, like circles, spheres/ balls
and then start and bounce,
it has some gravity, so depending on where started,
up, and high , bouncing against other objects,
or a seesaw like lever
and how that might work larger scale,
running SugarLabs on faster equipment than an XO-1
like a regular desktop,
and see that the limitations are,
but going much further,
Jobst The Wheel book had modelling of the physics
of the wheel, but proprietary,
modelling more of the entire bike
and community shop, might be interesting
and on up to a degree,
possibly as large as BikeBikeEveryWhere itself,
and a generator of income, perhaps
as might have been mentioned online,
at the end of the con by one guy,
so so many things,
and how much energy to do with that?
Do i have that kind of enery, or just the idea
nad get it started, then relegated to grunt work
like a lot of things,
others take it over,
so the social aspects get bad quickly with me,
or it doensn't get done,
as coming up with the idea
is about all the energy i have,
most of the time,
many examples of that up here,
perhaps,
But object oriented
and attach a tool with parts,
a screw has a head and Phillips,
slot, standard, straight,
hex/ Allen, etc,
and a size
threads per inch
direction andlength,
and a visibility, location on the screen
x, y, z,
it's likley a cylinder with a cap
and threads and maybe a point,
or a flat
wood screws are pointy,
metal ones different, and
the composition,
an alloy?
how much, and any iron?
so magnet test,
and strength,
finish?
marine and water resistant?
or will it rust?
metric or standard size?
and that's a very small part,
then where to find it,
in a shop, store, online,
and what does it look like?
can you visualize it from the description
and what mental model do you have
that maybe a novice or kid doesn't
and vice versa, what do you learn
with them?
fun?
other ways of looking at things,
and in simulation or virtual
can what be done with it,
without getting hurt?
video game it?
create challenges,
name that part?
describe the theory of operations?
how does it work,
where does it fit?
and gamify finding them in the Community Bike Shop,
and/or what tools do you use?
and in a pinch what else?
multi tool?
say you strip a bolt,
edges are bent off and how to remove,
unfreeze it?
tried vise grips and now mean to get it off,
did it have loctite?
seized bolt?
waht chemicals?
is it safe to flame throw on it,
warm it up, maybe energy that way?
and flammable?
toxins?
and other dangers?
you're too young for that, but in therory
what might do it?
without as much risk,
physically,
rapping knuckles,
we will get to that,
but now at 10 not doing that
yet, as most shops are 13 years old,
but learning and the curiosity of mechanical is way
younger,
the magic and marvel that happens
first from riding, learning to ride,
even as a passenger,
say in a trailer....
then graduating to 3 wheels,
earning your pedals,
2 wheels
balancing
and how does it say up?
what is centrifugal force?
do the wheels matter?
what about size of wheels?
small wheels and pot hols?
bunny hop and logs?
curbs,
and other CrashTestDummy Stuff?
single step it forward,
just before,
what speed?
what weight?
how big a curb/ log?
how to work around the obstacle?
and way up there counter stearing?
like motorcycles?
eBikes
scooters,
skate boards,
and risks,
pup up the front wheels,
slide of the board,
like stunt people on rails,
edges, etc,
specific terms for that,
shredding,
etc...
But on to other objects,
as commercializing it,
trading
and down to 3D scanning and printing,
rare parts , at different places around the world?
metric or English?

so Japanese
French
