So been doing Playa2023 for a while now
going on 2 weeks
up to level 20
and got a few more buildings
including residential
and the SimCap went up
Playa need work,
as lots of things goin on
more parts of the poilce station
and opened the movie studio production lot
which has a front desk like tea maker?
starting level 1 near the guards desk
but not really , a gate and ID
but not doing that,
a food truck as they don't have to go out
in elaborate makup/ costumes/ green screen
bulbs, form otion studies, animation
like for the walks the characters/ avatars
do, as some coming in the police station
and parks, are odd looking, wizard of oz
witch, warewolf, some skipping thing,
and a floating, etc
which have names, or similar to names,
as the police and others come in with
near famous names,
many retired and odler officers
and do the physical bullhorn,
training, even if they can't
but still seem to be able to jump well,
thougn more making others jump,
no poilce report, sim report
nor even arrest report for the crimanal
lookning ones, snitches/informers,
undercover whatever,
idk...
and other stars,
Star Wars like space fighting characters
in uniforms, and others,
many police officers, patrol wear uniforms,
blues, and the staff started out
cadets in fatigues, grey t shirts
and eventually specialized, only
starting at level 6 and two tracks
one for MEtro Police naother investigative
detective, and crime lab, but only one
per track, so not a lot of cross training
and it's een odd doing 24 hour scheduling,
shift work from an administrative
managerial perspective,
some queue management,
i've been getting police/sim/arrest reports
from people to know who's in the lobby,
and that with upgrades to the front desk,
costing in consumables (donuts, flashlights,
radios/ walkie talkies, later finger print cards,
police tape, not there yet, and others seen
but not into yet)
I'm still trying to make other rooms functional,
as have to unlock with staff at level 6 to 7
and above and build them, with consumable,s
say 1000 radios which take say 5 minutes plus
to earn, doing the queue lines,
and i've even done some things i don't
like done to me, as blackballing and discriminating
against the "criminals" masked striped shirts
and haven't built the jail, as haven't had
the money/ consumables to do that,
the station building went up in a day,
but the rest have to be earned,
played and won,
say some come in with a 3 part request/
task, how to manage those from a serving side,
looking at the front desk coming
or looking out from the front desk at
the parking lot, line, etc
this allows 3 pan and zoom but still
above it all and having those ants/ insects/
robot like avatars do things
so power hungry control freaks,
might like this but treating real people
disable,d poor old, etc, like runners/
action figures, and demanding they do this,
that and the other, x,y,z i've experienced
with many kids, so many already probably
play stuff like this and worse, in many
ways...
the queueing on the studio is similar
and i've built more houses,
and a promotions r us, which made work and hobby
(woodworking bench, musical instrument(s) guitar,
sponsored free by Toyota, the workbench expensive
)but the community center visited in other
neighborhoods won't unlock here for a long time,

rescue lots/ ghosttown in the desert,
a playa proper from a Burning Man
perspective, and this is all SPOILING
and making it ADULT too,
as likely a lot of other things are modeled
but not really,
sex workers, and the desert, living in
trailer parks, like i'd imagine
as the costs in town has gotten
too high, 100k to build a one bedroom
unfurnished single home/ apartment
but not yet doing apartments,
or buy and architected house,
designed like AutoCAD etc,
and special stuff,
the high end at 72k is h base
japanese on the regular homes,
i've considered but could buy anotherl ot
and make a bigger community guarden
or build out something else
town buildings, stores, etc...
getting to the mall and schools,
likely hospital seen as antoehr
24 hour place, with animaled
not just "at Work" type occupations,
sports stadium no workers there,
workers but not modeled,
and looking into the credits,
movie like credits huge productions
teams and numbesr of people
compnay called FireMonkeys?
or similar and in australia
other Sims Mobile uses another company
and likely built off of experiences
with other ones,
say each plot is an AutoCAD like simulation
of a building, from specifications,
and drawing, architectural sp?/ drafting
and can walk around virtually, see
from different angles, and regular 3D stuff,
take away walls, floors, ceilings, roofs,
and view from where would be sleeping,
furniture and utilities, lighting
shade and sunrise/ sunset, turns the
police station all sorts of colors
pink, etc from relfective sidewalks,
and windows, etc
But queuing theory, proper,
line goes 4 deep most case?
and replaces,
fairly quickly someone / thing else comes
up, kids included, without parents,
so only one per group,
and multiple kids during a shift,
and in line at a time too,
in a never ending sort of way
and the hours of the station aren't set
externally, you staff it,
make the roster, schedule/ rota
so my sims/ personnel working up
levels and traingin both them and me,
no how it all sort of works,
in fantasy land somewhat,
with a little humor,
the tomato plant genetically modified
sometimes turns into something that
eats people,
throws them around
and has to be negotiated with
instead of watching an ad/ movie
and putting it to bed/ sleep,
otherwise the guarden would fill up
with venus flytrap like mutants,
which aapparently money grows on trees
perhaps references to growing pot out west,
this is definitely out West,
desert and all, Vegas, performers,
HollyWood movie production lots,
etc, costumes, makeup hair, etc...
and will be able to name the town
in a HollyWood/ like marques/ lettering
on the hills later, as that is unlocked
maybe before level 40ish,
and like more after that,
a super yacht and ocean going
fantasy island etc,
i've finally gotten the guru quest
going, and found the missing person
who danced in the park with him
and had to sleep/ snore/ deeply,
various bed types and sleeping variables,
never really know
ahead if i'm going to need them
and wake up losing XP and other credits,
somethings / activities/ processes
can be interrupted easily
on call like but not really,
no concept of that here,
as a fire emergency and all hands at the station,
or even the gradutation shootings that
happened IRL how the staffing works for that,
much less school shootings in general,
SWAY And weapons aren't shown,
just uniforms and training,
so not to scare the kids,
no firing range, nor anyhgin like that,
a morgue may be coming with the hospital
part, and restaurant,
nothing about the dam breaking explosions,
like IRL Ukraine, war time, etc...
but that's about double or more the time
i've put in so far,
i'd really like to model some things i do
the kitchen and cooking process,
ironically the pizza boxes and failed development
taken over by oil money
is whre i'm at,
not all new, so refurbishing and
refinancing they get a tax base
and the floating nature of costs
as build a town,
but nothing of a personnel costs
budgeting government processes,
town hall is just an intern
so far and she's not progressing very
fast, like the day laborors like
fire and police, seeing what they do,
on up to level 10 Chief of Police
on the Metro side,
investigative and geeks, NCIS
whatever Crime Labs,
tech stuff...
But i'm tired up the night tending to these
and baby like too, as marriage and making
progeny/ babies/ kids i've not proceeded,
likely the female stereotypical track
and large part of the market besdies
desiging and building houses,
but making skills for knowing a little
bit of what is ahead,
no sleep, diapers, and nannies, more room,
silencing, sleep deprivation,
like pets, which 've not done,
i did accept working ona squd car as need
for patrol, not really but the hard coded
track dosn't allow bikes,
none shown nor motorcycles, so
not sure wht's up with that...older game
and times, but not Wild West, just
wild and crazy times,

the consequences of missing a lot
of stuff over the weeks maybe
more real thatn what little is modeled,
just some timers, walking and expressions,
the interrogation/ interview room
upgraded to more recording, oh a tape

no union but shift hours limitations,
as they line keeps coming
and have to shut things off,
missing even writing these
over the days, no real stopping point,
one more level the kids say,
but not really, as not going to end,
well, burning out and relativelyl
unstructured times, i've switched it
to night time, having the characters
work at night and for some can't
as customer facing, but others,
it's flexible, in your off time,
but won't have any with stuff like
this, i've called it immersive/
take over borging like
more like it...
But stop and breath, stretching
and eating, drinking and donuts,
realizing wit hall the phyiscal exercise
ust performing for customers/ citizens,
and superieriros, coworkers as a try out,
and squad car team building in the grill
next to the playground on police station
grounds, and community relations/ like
beginning managerial but not accounting
clostest thing is inventory,
and shipping which tkes hours
of ront desk time
most real managers would call in soemone
to do that shipping packages,
cover a time when they are off,
and maybe nail people down to workstations
and send people between workstations
your stereotypical beaurocracy/ sp?
so for a grocery plus store like
Aldi, Lidl doing more than one tasks,
instead of just cashier, stock and
warehouse included, manage things like
a forklift and pallets,
the floor cleaning machines
cross training and all sorts of things,
requires many more physical demands
and no wonder they are drinking at
the water fountain,
not coming home hungry all the donuts
around i guess, but not covering for
lunch and dinner breaks and other
demanded union type shop stuff...
but just tired and not that fun
at the moment, might pick up later,
but the imteline and demands/ tasks
in the desert for the free house
cleaning up after one guys pizza
boxes, hoarding or just lazy/ male
pig like, dishes piled and other
things falling by the way side,
taxes likely some money from each
building but dveloper risks,
and failure likely on that,
ordered to follow down that red/sand
gold brick road, and where it leads
no one knows,
like a gamblers routlette wheel
really...
Non peer stuff, the officer and investigator
as a front desk person and working the ranks,
mixing up things, a single handing only
one staff on, as can't do more than one
shift per day, or requires VIP status,
to break some of those rules...
Doing the housekeeping parts,
someone worked heir way up
and having a secretary/ assistant,
ironically in the movie lot
that's higher than tea maker/ getter,
and cadet police front lines,
to other ranks, deputy,
lu(i/e?)tenant sp?
sergeant, the way they spell sargent?
Rank isn't modeled much elsewhere
like someone important/ paid to be there
comes in and the customers/ citizens wait,
you have the choice of leaving people ignored
and/or who you end the shift near?
and no mechanism to report it to higher ups,
as no managers, hot lines to call,
etc...
so fake management and simulations/modelling
on a lot of things, no CPS,
Adult Protective, Human Resources,
and ADA, etc...
disabled ignored and not mldeled,
ageism somewhat but not really...
ableism a lot,
eliteism and classism more money bigger houses,
building and stuff...
assumes all single family homes,
assumes a binary relationships,
but doesn't check gender,
not sure how adopting and samesex
stuff might happen,
no checks on relations and incest,
etc...
but some church like TV / channel
advertises, so maybe UP there?
doesn't mesh well with my real life
DySim and other sims might be in order,
but not very saleable/ marketing
friendly, as ridicule and other
problems...
