So woken by someone(s)
and then someone said cancelled,
but not what, so i went online
searching CapitalAreaFoodBank
with spaces between words
and google found twitter
put out 13 hours previously
saying AMCC S. Dinwiddie cancelled
and see next month
with a link to resources on their site,
maybe other sites, idk,
I went out to check and 20ish people
before 0300a and there were signs posted
with Community Center letterhead
people moaned and complained
but eventually got the message,
informaion, afaict, one front woman
why not put on the door to the buildnig
i'm not them , i don't even like them
and they don't like me
i don't know
which seemed to hit home, for once,
but i went off, getting my helmet
and vest, smartphone and start moving bikes,
up anyways
saw a bunny out back,
small and fast white tail
so i know it wasn't a rat
and some kid(s) said it was theirs
they lost it, don't scare it,
but already happened, i didnt
try ot but im big,
dinosaur/ godzilla size by comparison
and wearing a bunny ears, had the
helmet on early...
BUt i went and did some bike moves
having to look up places that
would take, up the hill being the first,
and then where next?
and ended up going to SilverDiner
over in Alexandria, i had dropped off
at the school, checking George Mason
which had been offline, and now not showing
there was a rental scooter unlocked there,
but i climbed up the hill and
dropped at the school as planned,
taking pictuers of docks along
the way, and went to Harris Tetter
at Columbia Pike and George MAson
which had too many after taking some
from AMCC, until not worth
or out of extras...
After two
first going back up the hill
from a 7-11 on WakeField?
down by the 4MileRun trail
that one was full,
had seen a pen,
but turned out to be an injector
needle last time,
of insulin i put it up
on the windshield washer wiper
of a truck nearby , thinking they
would know what to do with it,
suggestions later were stick it into
something so not stuck, and dispose of
properly, i've got sharps boxes
at home i bought for testing
blood sugar, lancets, they are called
and handle that way,
it might have gotten the tire,
kids might have tried playing with it,
and others around said something about it,
use another injector,
needed to get in,
came back out,
why on my truck, etc...
I got as far as Sequoia
the Human Services buildnig
dropped off near Cinema and Draft
house in the park that WalGreens
and the Farmers Market SunDays
but some problems going back in the
alley short cutting, chain blocking
parking i did see, puddles i didn't
and got feet wet,
only one
but later the second,
in closed toe sandles,
sandels, or whatever,
still thinking summer,
and not changed over yet...
blisters died down some over the day,
and a 4 hour time to save points,
ramping up sawtooth like 1x 2x 3x
but has to reset/ restart
and that has a time limit,
so did what i could
racking up around 20 points,
afaict, have to confirm,
too wet to use the smart phone
worrying about that
and have to walk back from
Cinema and DRaft House
there's a tortilla/ something similar
24 hour and the Diner Bob & Ediths
but i'm out of money
Giant not open yet,
all before 0600, but might have
stayed feet dry and more energy
for doing more form Sequoai
to empty dock up from Missing Man
a little higher than Bob & Ediths
Buses started running 0500a
but lost points incentive
the streak limited
and over, wet feet and go back...
Need a bathroom quickly
and HArris Teeer not open het
but a construction chemical toilet
and it was Open / unlocked

after using the toilet
door on the street, maybe getting ready
to change out?
And some grunting etc
by the building, someone

and someone(s) clinical like
trying to rouse her/ them,
with advice to miss the chairs
dark and difficult to see,
like a lot of things
people later on
all dark, only seeing really mask
soemone commenting on seeing branches
after he storm builds,
a state of emergency was put up
by the Governor, before this
so already staffing and preparing...

told them and the first sign wasn't there

but staff getting food again in the truck,
and they may have been activated to stay
and tell people it's not happening
with some emergency deputized type
funds, authorized by people protecing me
likely, people around and up the hilll
behind a school, lights but ran out of trail
to steps, something went quickly
think a bird, no hopping motion,
off startled, not a rat, afaict
too fast, and no tail
taking a short cut
zig zag going another way

proper where Mother's Day a guy died,
some years ago...
More skiing and going sideways
which i learned cross country sking
a long time ago.
Getting light out and need to put this

a whole chicken thinking need to make the space
for more coming in
and Fish on FriDay
hopefully power stays on,
a set of matches to light the
gas stovetop
and some other things
camp fuel to use up
but nee to do in a park grill
or something
find old stove, camping
likely packed,
and use up what i have
but not waste...
What all are you doing instead?
how to make ends meet?
earlier in the month at other sites?
and planning for down time
closures and lateness,
maybe need a broader view
like low food at AFAC
no breads and sweets,
plan for not getting much
summer time
now into fall,
one good plentiful then not,
and unpredictable,
so doing multiple sources,
diversify some call it
and protected limited
supplies,
and had to throw out potatoes
and onions with pest,
tens of pounds of it
need to learn to prepare green peppers,
onions and freeze, what can be done with
potatoes?
