HolidayAngst2012

Introduction/Definition/etc

Kind of like a pre soak with the warsh,

PreHolidayAngst2012  has come and gone,

but this is game day, big game day,

the turkey might be in the oven,

IDK, I'm not cooking one, I get vegetarian

on the mass slaughter of animals,

and turned one donated one back,

not set it free, mind you, can't

work that Act of God

er, PlayingGod2012

nor even Frankenstorm2012

on a bird, but some things to be grateful for,

even in the pits, or what I call

Dante's Third Ring of Hell,

Put Up Chili Pepper Holiday Lights,

in observance of the sun taking a holiday

EDT, Daylights Savings/ Quitin Time,

and time to hibernate, like a bear...

Body

Jonathan Winters and Robin Williams on David Letterman,

classic

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiSXnmTJmCM

After several hours of calming James Taylor

Charlie Rose interview when he was with CBS,

his writing technique, wait for it to come,

play some of it on guitar,

starting out in McLean Hospital (locked psych ward)

his (doctor?) dad coming to get him,

renting a car and 24 hours

later was there for him, after heroin and multiple

overdoses, even though his dad was distant while

growing up, and now James has Ben, a son with Carly (sp?) Simon,

playing guitar songs with him on stage,

interviews of Ben talking about his parental influences

and their processes and well, just get lost up

in Carolina On My Mind, though it's really

Carolina In My Mind...

Fire and Rain, as I learned watching videos,

is about the loss of one of his friends,

he wrote a song, and it probably put him

on the cover of Time Magazine, back in the day...

Up On  the Roof, another good calming one,

for me, and not sure how it came into my family,

but James Taylor album JT? back in the early

1970s, some soothing calmer stuff, though troubled

somewhat too, instead of the hard stuff and later

hair metal bands...  Wimpy Estrogen music,

instead of Testosterone stuff,

as I used to say, but now there's YouTube.com

and making a personal MTV, if I work for it,

by finding songs online that I like and various

different performances of it, some Pink Floyd

The Wall looks like the sick type stuff people used

to tell me it was, but I thought it cool, and fun,

You'll Go Crazy Listening To That Stuff,

well, here I am, 40 years later, or so,

disabled with depression, never got into the drugs,

just the music, I'm weird enough without it,

even for some weird people like G!I

it takes time to warm up to stuff, and people,

so maybe some links later, but for now,

go to get going, not the usual Norman Rockwell

family holiday, nothing for me, today I'd rather

sleep and get on that...

Conclusion

Summary of experience or similar

A little more Robin in England

Bur really JT may calm you down more,

if it doesn't bring flashbacks...
